10 Months

Tomorrow our little man will be 10 months.  I love this stage.  He is constantly moving and trying new things.  He is crawling on all fours most of the time, instead of the army crawl.  He is constantly pulling himself up on things.  He loves to be standing and playing.
He just discovered the piano at my mom's house the other day.  He was so excited that he could reach the keys.  He was really excited when he realized that we have a piano too. We don't spend a lot of time in the front room, so I guess he didn't realize we had one.
I love how much personality Wyatt has.  He is so happy and content all the time.  He loves to make people laugh, especially Caitlyn and Jonah.  If he does something and they laugh he will do it over and over again and stare at them and then wave his arms around while he laughs.
He gets so excited to see everyone.  Whenever one of us walks in the room he will get a huge smile and wave his arms around.  His hair is finally starting to fill in.  He still has a lot more on top than on the sides.
He still just has one tooth on the bottom.  The one next to it has almost broken through.  He doesn't let that stop him from eating.  He loves to eat whatever we are having.  He is getting less and less interested in bottles and any type of baby food.
He thought it was pretty fun when I pushed him around in the kid's shopping cart yesterday.  I love the fact that Wyatt still wants to be held.  He loves to be on the floor exploring and playing on his own, but after a while he wants me to hold him for a little while and then he will get down and play again.
It is a little sad that he is growing up so fast, but we are enjoying his cute personality.  I was looking at him today thinking, he is looking more and more like a little boy instead of my baby.  I can't say it enough, I love our Wy Guy.

On Fire

Jonah had an awesome soccer game yesterday.  Each game he gets a little more aggressive, but yesterday he was on fire.  He has one kid on his team who is really good and usually makes most of the goals.  He wasn't on his game yesterday so Jonah took over.
Jonah's coach asked Keith to fill in for him.  Jonah was so excited to have Daddy as his coach.  Keith had it a little rough because they only had 6 players (5 play at a time) and 3 of them weren't interested in playing most of the game.
Here is a picture of Jonah scoring one of his eight goals yesterday. He was so excited after every one.  He would run over and tell me how many goals he had.
This is him running over to tell me, I never got a picture of his huge smile after every goal.  He would have a proud look, a huge smile and throw his hands up after every goal.  It was so cute.
It is hard to tell but here he is scoring another one.  This poor kid to the side has a pout and the saddest look on his face throughout the whole game.  I feel so sorry for him.  I'm guessing soccer won't be his thing.
Here Jonah is after the game showing me how many goals he made.  It was such an exciting game.  He was so excited about it all day and has been telling people again today how many goals he made.  It reminds me of when I used to play soccer.  You really are on a high after a good game.  I love watching Jonah play.

These Days

I had a wonderful Mother's day.  My family took good care of me.  They made me breakfast in bed and they all gave me thoughtful gifts.  The kids were really excited to give me these vases they made.  Caitlyn has been giving me gifts all week.  She draws me pictures and gives me empty bags and says it has 1,000 kisses inside them.  She is always so sweet and loves to give presents.
I'm so grateful for these three and for the awesome blessing of being a Mother.  I'm also very grateful for my wonderful mother, who I call all the time for advice. I know everyone thinks they have the best Mom, but I'm 100% convinced that I do.
Caitlyn taught Wyatt how to scrunch his face and breath really loud out of his nose.  She loves that she taught him and that he will copy her.
It is pretty funny.  The loud breathing while he is doing this makes it even funnier.  Always good for a laugh.
Wyatt is our determined little guy.  He decides what he wants and is not easily distracted.  I was mopping the floor so I set up all the chairs in the great room so he couldn't get into the kitchen.  He climbed through all of the chairs and thought it was so funny.
I would move him back and he would find his way back to the kitchen.  He was pretty proud of himself.  He loves to climb on and through anything he can find.

Crazy Saturday

Jonah had his second soccer game today.  We have been practicing and he has been so excited for it.  He did awesome.  He was so much more aggressive this time.  He had a lot of fun playing with Dad during halftime.
I love this picture.  I'm so glad my kids have such a wonderful, involved Father.  Jonah scored one goal and should have had another one.  He dribbled the ball all the way down the field, was right by the net about to kick it in when someone from his team ran up and kicked the ball in the net.  It was a good lesson for him that it doesn't matter who scores the goal.  I love watching him play.  Jonah loves to have people watching him.  If he could have it his way I would spend my whole day watching everything he does.  After every play he looks back to make sure we were watching.
Wyatt and Caitlyn have fun going to the soccer games.  Caitlyn said the sun was in her eyes, even though it was behind her.  Wyatt spent the whole game climbing all over Grandma.
After the soccer game Keith took the kids to Lowe's for a building project and then we headed to a primary carnival. The kids have been so excited for this carnival.
Jonah had fun doing a little obstacle course.
They ate lunch, snow cones and lots of cookies.  They were in heaven.
They both had fun in the bounce house.  Jonah brought his soccer ball and had fun playing soccer with Dad and some of the older boys.

Caitlyn loved the face painting, nail painting and jewelry making.  She was excited to see her friends there.  We love having lots of friends close by.
I was a little surprised that Caitlyn liked the obstacle course so much.
She was proud of herself that she went and didn't run screaming when she heard balloons pop.  She is so scared of balloons again.  It was a fun day.  I love to watch the kids when they are so excited about things.

Where is Wyatt?

This is the question I'm constantly asking all day.  If I have to leave the room I ask the kids where he is because he is so busy that I have to keep my eye on him all the time. The other day he was standing up holding onto the laundry basket when I left the room for a minute.  I came back in and I couldn't find him anywhere.
I heard his little voice, but I couldn't find him.  Finally I realized he had fallen into the laundry basket.
He thought it was pretty funny.  Jonah and I also had a good laugh about it.
Wyatt loves to pull himself up on anything he can find.  He has a few bruises on his forehead right now because he pulls himself up on things he shouldn't.
He is used to a cheering section for everything he does.  The other day he waved and then clapped his hands.
He loves this table.  He uses it more as a walker now.  He just pushes it around the house while he walks.
He has decided that he likes to use the walker backwards to get around.  The other day he was standing at the couch and I was right next to it and he just let go of the couch and tried to get over to me.  I guess he thinks he can walk on his own now.
He seemed so old looking at the kids out the window yesterday.
We went to my sister's house a few days ago and Wyatt and Rockwell were so cute playing together.  They just kept handing each other toys.  I'm so excited that he will have a playmate at Grandma's.

Summer clothes

I don't know why, but I think kids look so cute in shorts.  My friend gave Wyatt these pajamas and I was so excited to put him in them.  He looked so cute.
Wyatt won't hold still for pictures anymore.  He is constantly moving.
He is always pulling himself up on everything.  Luckily he finally figured out how to get back down.
If I'm lucky I can get a quick picture of him before he takes off.
Another friend gave Wyatt this adorable outfit and I love it.  He looks so grown up.
You can see his one tooth that finally poked through.  He is still working on the one next to it.
He was a great sport today. We went to Jonah's soccer game and then a carnival for the kids.  Luckily he got a nap in between so he was a happy boy.
