Keeping busy

Wyatt and Hallee get up so early.  They aren't supposed to come out of their rooms until 7 AM.  Sometimes they will go in Wyatt's room and play together until 7.  They were so cute coloring together one morning.
I went with Hallee on a field trip.  They went to the Scera Theater and saw, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."  Hallee was really excited to go and really excited about her snacks.
We gave Kinley a ride too.  The kids did really well sitting quietly.  Hallee really liked it.
Grandma was here when we came home.  She came down to visit since Dante and Alexys had school and we didn't. The kids loved having her here.  We all had fun playing a game together.
That night Jonah and I went to the Jazz game with Mel and the boys.  It was a lot of fun.  It was a great night to go because we didn't have school the next day.
Will the real Gordon Hayward please stand up?
Jonah and I worked hard on his scouting this summer.  He missed scouts for a couple of months because of football so we had to do all of the work at home.  He got his Bear last week.  I'm proud of him because it was a lot of work!
This handsome guy lost his super tooth last week.  He has an extra tooth and it was fused to his other tooth and they both came out.  I remember being terrified when that was coming in because it looked like he was getting a molar in the middle of his mouth. Hopefully he will just get one permanent tooth.

Halloween fun

On Monday we went trick-or-treating at our doctors office. The kids made sure I didn't forget this week after mixing up the date last week.
Hallee looked so cute as Super Girl.
The kids had fun trick-or-treating and playing some games.
On Sunday we went to dinner at my mom's and she had a little Halloween party for the kids.  They loved playing all of the games and making cookies.
They were all excited with their treat bags!
Last night we had our Halloween dinner.  The kids always look forward to this.

Until next season

We went to Lagoon for the last time during Fall break.  We will all miss going.  Katie and the kids went with us.  It is always more fun to go with friends.  They kids had a blast together.  EJ came with us too.  Jonah had a great time going around with EJ and his friend.  EJ is so great to let Jonah pal around with them.
Boston and Hallee rode some rides together.  They were so cute, they talked and laughed the whole time.
The kids used their money to play a game where everyone is guaranteed a prize.  They were sure happy with their prizes.
Hallee went on the scrambler this time.  She is getting so brave.  She loved it and went on it over and over.
Kristin and Emily met us there that evening.  Hallee wouldn't leave Emily's side.  She loved riding the rides with her. It got so cold at night.  We were all freezing by the time we left.
On Saturday Keith and I went with Adam and Emilee to Lagoon.  It was so nice not to worry about kids or lug around the stroller and a million snacks.  It was crowded, but it didn't seem too bad since we had fun visiting while we stood in line.  It has been way too long since we have seen the Becks so it was great to spend the day with them.
Keith shocked me by going on Cannibal.  He is terrified of heights, but he said he wanted to go on it.  He keeps telling the kids that "Loosli's do hard things" and he wanted to show them that he would do hard things too, what a great dad!  He was terrified when we got to the top, he was pale and his hands were sweating so bad.  I don't think he enjoyed the ride, but he was proud of himself for trying it and so was I.

Just Kidding!

So remember how I am losing my mind?  Well last night I got the kids all dressed up and ready to go to the doctor's office for a trick-or-treating event.  Keith got stuck at work (for 12 hours yesterday) so I thought it would be fun to take the kids.
The kids were so excited.  I made them take a few pictures and then we got in the car.  I told Caitlyn to double check the flyer before we left to make sure I had the time right.  I had the time right, I just had the date wrong!  I knew it was the 17th yesterday and I knew the event was on the 24th, but somehow I convinced myself that yesterday was the 24th.  The kids were pretty disappointed, but they handled it well.  Hallee wasn't too thrilled with me, but the rest of them understood.
In an effort to cheer Hallee up I told her we could trick-or-treat at home.  I had the kids knock on my door and I pretended to be an old lady and passed out candy.  The kids got a kick out of that and they all wanted to take a turn to get dressed up and open the door.
The kids had a blast with it.  It cheered Hallee right up.
My bras were the big hit!  They sure thought they were funny.
I loved to hear the funny voices they used when they opened the door.
They all wanted to do it twice, so we had fun doing that for a while.
I'm glad we could turn a disappointment into a fun night.

No time for pictures today mom!

Hallee used to ask me to take her pictures on the way to preschool, now she tells me we don't have time and we have to hurry and get there.  I think it is because she likes preschool now and isn't trying to stall!
I am so excited that football season is over, it is so nice to have our weekends back!  Jonah is always moving on to the next thing.  Last week he had basketball try outs.  Our neighbors told us about that bantam league and a lot of Jonah's friends were trying out so we didn't want him to miss out.  There were tons of boys there.  You can see Jonah going in for a layup if you look really close.  Jonah did well on both nights of try outs, now we are just waiting for the results.  They have A teams and B teams.  Provo High School is trying to train these boys to play for them.  I really hope Jonah ends up on a team with his friends for his sake as much as mine!
I'm loving not taking Jonah to practice during the week too!  On Thursday night we all worked together to get the house cleaned and the yards done.  I loved watching Hallee follow Keith around the whole back yard.  She sure looks up to her dad, she is lucky to have such a good one.
These two sure love to fight, but I know they really love each other.  I loved coming downstairs and finding them watching TV like this.
On Saturday Keith and I were able to go to the Payson temple to go through with Sonia Briggs for her first time.  I got to know her a couple of years ago when we were put together as visiting teaching partners.  Keith starting working with her boys in young mens around that same time.  Her husband passed a few years ago and Keith really took those boys under his wing.  We were so happy to hear that Kevin is going to serve a mission in a couple of months.  It was great to be in the temple with Sonia and see a few people from the old ward.
After the temple we took the kids to a park.  They needed to get some energy out before we left them again for our Stake Conference meeting.
We all had fun playing in the park.
It was a great way to break up the day for all of us.
The kids had fun playing in the canyon after our pictures on Sunday.  There were plenty of places to explore.
I am loving the cooler weather!

Family Pictures 2016

I have been thinking about doing our family pictures, but I haven't wanted to put a lot of work into it.  I am obsessed with the trees and the beautiful colors right now.  There are huge, beautiful trees when you drive into our neighborhood and I love them.  We decided we wanted to go to Provo Canyon today to look at all the colors so I figured we might as well do a photo shoot while we were up there.
We threw some clothes together and we were off.  I promised the kids that I wouldn't torture them for long if they would cooperate.  It didn't take long to get a few pictures that we were happy with. The hardest part is getting their real smiles!
This one took about five minutes to set up, but it sure looks cute! Who knew standing still and leaning your head to the side could be so hard!
We sure love these cute kids!
The kids couldn't wait for pictures to be over so they could play in the leaves and explore.
Fall is quickly becoming one of my favorite seasons.  I couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the colors were on our drive and the kids just ignored me, just like I used to ignore my mom!
I'm so glad my girls have a sister.  I don't know what I would do without my sisters.
I'm really glad these two have each other.  They are crazy, rough and goofy together!
Love these beautiful girls!
Jonah can make Wyatt laugh like no one else can.
I'm glad that Hallee and Caitlyn have so much fun playing together.  Caitlyn will play dolls and house and whatever else Hallee wants to play.
Love these handsome boys!
And the crazy couple that started it all!
