Oaky that's it, we should not have another baby!

Today Kenzie was pulling Hallee's hair and Hallee said, "Okay, that's it, we should not have another baby."  Hallee had fun with Kenzie this week, but there was a difference between Hallee's interactions with Kenzie and the older kids.  You can tell that Hallee is the youngest child and I think she would prefer to keep it that way.
Hallee was excited to feed Kenzie the other day.  I love how Hallee opened her mouth every time she fed her a bite.
Cute girls.
We had fun going on walks every day.  Hallee counted to 100 on one of our walks, she only needed a little bit of help.  She has learned a lot in pre-school this year.
Caitlyn was a huge help with Kenzie.  She babysat while I went to games and ran errands.
The kids all liked watching shows with Kenzie.
Kenzie loves Keith.  Whenever she sees him she reaches for him.
As the week went on she got more and more clingy with me and Keith. You can tell she is missing her family.
Kenzie loved playing basketball with Jonah.  Jonah is really cute with little kids.
Overall this week went well.  I forgot how exhausting toddlers are.  I don't miss that physically exhausting stage of life.  All of the kids helped so much.  I think they will miss having Kenzie around.

Be nice to mom!

Wyatt has become my self appointed body guard.  He gets really worried if he thinks someone is being mean to me.  He will jump in and attack Jonah if me and Jonah are rough housing.  It is really sweet.  He is such a good kid, he really tries hard to do the right thing.  He has matured a lot in the last few months.  For a while he would get upset and scream at least a few times a day, but that is pretty rare now.  I love seeing him try so hard and go out of his way to be nice and look out for people.  He is so cute!  I was looking at him yesterday and thinking, man you are cute!
Last week we registered Hallee for kindergarten.  She was so excited about her workbook that they gave her.  She has already finished it.
I have to post a picture of our yard because I'm really proud of it.  I have worked hard on the yard this Spring.  The kids and I weeded the yard during Spring break and I have kept up on it since then.  I mow and trim every week now and make sure I get any dandelions that pop up in the grass.  I enjoy yard work most of the time and I like to get it done during the week so we can have our weekends to play.  Keith has been working at least a few hours every Saturday so the kids and I try to get everything done so we can just play when Keith gets home.
Katie and Ben are in Europe for a week so we are keeping Kenzie.  The kids could hardly wait for Kenzie to get here on Saturday morning.  The kids love Kenzie and couldn't wait to play with her.  I have to remind them to give her space and not to try and pick her up all of the time, but it is really sweet to see how much they love playing with her.
They all get really excited when she reaches for them.
We went to Lagoon after the boys' games on Saturday.  Kristin and Emily were there when we got there. It was fun to visit with Kristin while the kids rode rides.
I am definitely out of toddler mode, I forgot how exhausting they are!  Kenzie was really good, but she wanted to wander around and it was so crowded.  We only stayed for a few hours because of the crowds. I stayed with Hallee and Wyatt while Keith rode some rides with Caitlyn and Jonah.
Yesterday the kids built a fort after dinner.
Hallee and Wyatt were so excited when Keith got in the fort with them.

Easter Sunday

Hallee and Wyatt were up bright and early Easter morning.  They went out and found their Easter baskets before anyone was awake.  Stinkers!  They were excited to come in and tell me what they found.  The Easter bunny brought them this sand table too!
Their Easter baskets had a few treats and a small Book of Mormon and a Book of Mormon activity book.
After we looked through their baskets Hallee and Wyatt had fun looking for eggs.
We put quarters in the eggs instead of candy.  The kids get plenty of candy and they love the money eggs.
A little while later Jonah woke up and found his basket.
He had fun finding his eggs.
He was pretty happy with his loot!
We finally woke Caitlyn up so she could find her basket.
The kids also got "Sing."  We all love that movie!
We had time to have our family home evening lesson before church.  We opened and read the scriptures that go along with our resurrection eggs. It was great to bring the focus back to Christ.  I love Easter, I love the reminder that darkness will always give way to light.  I love that because of Christ we can always find peace and light through Him, the Prince of Peace.  I'm so grateful for my Savior and the peace and hope He brings me.
The kids couldn't wait to play in the sand after church.  They have had a lot of fun with it.  I love that they don't sit in the sand so it isn't in all of their clothes.
We went to my parents for dinner that night.  The kids were so excited for the annual Easter egg hunt.  I sure love all of these kids!  We had a nice dinner and had fun visiting.

Easter Eggs

The kids were excited to dye Easter eggs last weekend.
They loved mixing them in all of the different colors.
It was fun to see them so excited about the colors.
We had a nice weekend.  On Saturday we all worked together to clean up the house and the yard.  We had fun watching Jonah's soccer game and Wyatt's basketball game. They both played great.  Jonah had a really good game, he gave it his all and helped his team win the game.  Saturday night we had the Youth fundraiser dinner and auction.  It was a crazy night for me, I was working the whole night.  Caitlyn helped serve the food and then she was able to join Keith and the kids for dinner.  Jonah was thrilled when Keith bid on and won BYU basketball tickets.
Keith has been working really long hours again so it was nice to have so much time with him this weekend. He was home in time to dye eggs on Friday and he went in early Saturday morning and didn't have to work the rest of the day.
The eggs turned out so cute.  After they dyed the eggs they got sharpies and drew faces on the eggs, they had a lot of fun with that.

Spring!

We are loving this Spring weather.  Last week we met Katie and Tiff at the park.  The kids had fun climbing the trees.  I love this picture of Boston and Hallee.
We love being outside.  I love the sunshine! We don't love the allergies that come along with Spring,  we are all stuffy and itchy and I have awful sinus pressure and headaches.
I love playing with Damon.  I had fun chasing him around at the park and listening to all of the cute things that he says.  I don't miss chasing my toddlers around, but I'm glad I get to play with Damon. I watched him and Tessa last week and he was so cute! He is talking in sentences now and everything he says is so cute!
Jonah loves the Fablehaven books.  He was really excited when the author, Brandon Mull came to their school last week.  Brandon Mull was at Barnes and Noble that same night and Jonah wanted to go.  He used all of his money to buy his new book and he was so excited to get it signed by the author. He has already finished the book and he loved it!  I'm so glad Jonah loves reading.

Shake Your Tail Feather

Hallee had her dance rehearsal last week.  She was so excited for it.  She did two dances, Tea Party and Shake Your Tail Feather.  She loved her Shake Your Tail Feather dance and she loves to show it to people!
She loved taking dance with Tessa.  These girls are the cutest!
It was fun to visit with Tiff during dance.  We usually walked/ran the track downstairs during their dance class.  Tiff was a huge lifesaver and watched Hallee and took her to dance every Monday while I was in Wyatt's class.
My mom and the kids came down for the rehearsal.  Mel and her girls came too.  Hallee loved having everyone there to watch her.
Hallee did awesome.  She had a huge smile on her face the whole time.
She sang along while she danced, it was so cute.
Hallee knew the whole dance.
Hallee and Tessa got to spin together during both of the dances.  Tessa did such a great job too, it was so fun to watch her.
Hallee has loved dance, she already misses going.
She can really shake her hips!
The dance show was so cute.  I'm so glad Hallee had so much fun because we sure had fun watching her.
