Fall

I love Fall. I love the cooler weather and I love all of the changing leaves.  On Monday night we decided to go up to Provo Canyon so I could take Jonah's pictures and we could walk up to Bridal Veil Falls.
It is so pretty up there.  I love listening to the sound of rushing water while we walk along the path.
We rushed out the door right when Keith got home, luckily we had an hour to enjoy up there before it got dark and too cold.
The kids were actually really good sports about all of the pictures I wanted to take, I guess they are used to it now.  I usually use my cell phone, so it was fun to use my nice camera again.
The kids had fun racing on the bridge and throwing rocks in the water.
I love that Hallee is almost always happy.  She gets excited about everything.
Wyatt brought a notebook to take notes and draw pictures of the leaves and trees.
I posed this picture, but Hallee added the pointing. So cute!
We do have good looking kids!
Hallee always wants me to take her picture.
"Mom, take a picture of my sad face."
It was one of those perfect times where everyone is getting along and having fun together, I love those times!

Life Lately

It is nice that I don't usually have to take Hallee to the boys games, but we want the kids to support each other so last Saturday we all went to both of the football games.  The boys play at the same field and usually their games are back to back which is nice.  This week the games overlapped so I had to keep looking back and forth between fields.
The boys both played great.  Jonah worked so hard and went up against some big players.
On Monday Tiff and the kids game over.  Wyatt was so excited when he came home from school and Rockwell was here.
Hallee and Tessa always go straight to the dress up.
Damon kept running down the hall and jumping into my arms and then he would laugh when I held him up.  It was so cute.  Hallee must have been jealous because she had to run and jump into my arms like Damon.
I just love Damon.  He makes me happy.  He is the happiest kid ever.  He just walks around and smiles all day and says the cutest things.  He has always had a happiness and peace about him that is contagious, I love it! I'm so lucky to be his aunt!
Hallee and Tessa started dance this week.  We signed them up through BYU.  I think it will be a good program for them.  Hallee can't wait to go back.
Thursday was crazy hair day.
I'm not very creative, but the kids were happy.  Wyatt had the idea for his, he told me how to do it and said it looked like a nest.
Here is the back of Hallee's.  Hallee loved participating in all of the silly things this week.  She is loving school.  I'm so glad.

The fly is in my eye, never mind it's just a googie

Hallee hates when we have flies in the house.  There was one flying around during breakfast this morning and Hallee yelled, "the fly is in my eye, never mind it's just a googie."  She always makes me laugh.
Hallee loves school.  Every day when I drop her off she will turn around at least once, usually a couple of times and wave at me with a big, open mouth smile. I love it.
We love Mrs. Cox.  She is an amazing teacher.  She sent us this e-mail.
Hi Hallee's family,
I'm not sure what you're doing to raise such awesome children, but keep up the good work!  I just wanted to tell you I had such a wonderful day with your sweet Hallee! Every time I looked around, she was busy being kind, listening, working hard or helping clean up!  She is a delight and I'm so glad she's in our class!
Thanks,
Karen Cox
I'm so grateful that Hallee has such a wonderful teacher and that she is having such a great experience at school.
Here is Jonah and his friends after football.
We went to Lagoon on Monday.  It wasn't crowded.  It is so nice when we don't have to wait in long lines.  It was crazy hot though.
It is nice that there are so many rides we can all go on together.
We were able to ride all of the rides in a few hours so we left early and went to my mom's for a barbecue.  The kids all voted to go to grandmas!
On Tuesday Hallee and I invited Tessa to go to see Leap with us.  Hallee loved the movie and really wanted to take Tessa. It is a cute movie, so I was happy to see it again.
The girls wanted their picture taken by the water!  It was so fun to spend the afternoon with these cute girls.  I love listening to them talk, they are both hilarious.
We invited grandma to come along too.  I'm so glad she came.  The girls loved having her there and so did I.
Wyatt had a great football game yesterday.  He has been working really hard on his footwork and being able to dodge people while he is running.  He was really happy yesterday when that hard work paid off and he was able to use his fancy footwork to run down half the field for a touch down!  He immediately looked over to make sure Keith and I saw, I love seeing his big smile when he is proud of himself.  We loved cheering him on yesterday!
They were selling school shirts to raise money so I told the kids I would buy them one.  Jonah didn't want one, but Hallee and Wyatt are sure excited about their new shirts.  Friday is school pride day so they couldn't wait to wear them today.  Cute kids!

Flag Football

Jonah and Wyatt have started flag football.  Jonah is on a team with all of the neighborhood boys. I love that there are so many boys in our neighborhood.  They are all like Jonah, they are very athletic and they love every sport.  It is so great for him.
Jonah was a little confused on blocking during his first game, but he got it figured out by his second game and he did awesome.  It always surprises me that Jonah doesn't like to be aggressive.  It takes him a while each season to really get comfortable with it and get aggressive on every play.
Jonah got to run the ball on a few plays.
Because all of the boys in our neighborhood are so athletic their teams always dominate.  They have an amazing football team.  It is fun to see them learn how to run plays and work together.  Jonah loves spending time with his friends on and off the field!
This handsome guy is playing his first year of flag football.  Doesn't he have the cutest face ever?
Wyatt is playing with two boys from the neighborhood and a couple of boys from school.  I thought it would be pretty chaotic at this age, but it is more organized than I thought it would be.  Wyatt's coach is great and has it organized so well.  He is really good with the boys and has taught them a lot.
Wyatt got to play quarterback for a while in his first game.  He did great.  He even threw a short pass and the kid caught it!
Wyatt loved running the ball.  It has been fun to watch the boys.  I love watching my kids play sports, but I don't love sitting out in the heat.  Hopefully the temperature will drop soon!
