You know what really helps with bonding, popcorn!

Keith wanted to see the new Marvel movie on Saturday.  Wyatt was so excited to go with him.  Wyatt said he was excited for bonding time and then followed  it up with, "you know what really helps with bonding, popcorn."  How can Keith say no to that!  Jonah said he didn't want to see the movie and then went on Monday with his friend.  It's hard to parent teenagers and keep your self esteem! Our teenagers are awesome and it's still hard!
I have been able to get a temple appointment most weeks.  Keith and I went on Saturday as well.  It's so great to be back in the temple.  The flowers and the view when you walk out of the temple are amazing.  I always feel renewed and hopeful when I leave the temple and walking out to this view helps me keep that feeling.
Hallee is so happy that Trinity is in her class this year.  They became really good friends last year.  Trinity was finally able to come over for a play date last week.  Hallee was so happy, they had a great time playing together all afternoon.
Jonah has been growing his hair out for a while now.  The problem is he hates the long hair over his ears.  We looked up some haircuts and he wanted a trim around the ears and neck.  We looked at different places to get his haircut, but it seemed like too much money for a trim.
I decided to give it a shot.  Jonah was really nice about it because he knew I was nervous.  I'm not good at blending so I was pretty nervous about it.  It took way too long (like an hour) for this haircut, but Jonah loved it so I was glad I did it.
Jonah got his braces off last week too.  He sure looks grown up and handsome!
Keith took Hallee and Wyatt to the skate park last week.
Wyatt has been riding his bike a lot and really wanted to go ride his bike down the hills at the skate park.
Hallee was sweeping when we got home from the temple on Saturday.  She was so excited to surprise us by cleaning the house.  She is such a sweetheart.
On Saturday Hallee and I worked on Rainbow Loom bracelets.  We pulled out her alphabet set that she got for her birthday and I worked on making her a bracelet with her name on it.  I kept getting so close to being done and then I would make a mistake or a rubber band would snap and I would have to start over.  Hallee kept telling me that I didn't have to make it, but I was determined to complete that bracelet. Hallee was so happy when I finally finished it that night.
Saturday evening Jonah, Kyle, Wyatt and Amanda went fishing.
They brought home five white bass.  They wanted to cook them.  I was not looking forward to the fish smell in the house, but I was glad they were having such a fun night and a cool experience.  Kyle taught Jonah how to gut and skin the fish out front.
They cooked up the fish and made fish tacos.
Hallee was thrilled that Amanda came over and that she got to stay up late.  They had fun making bracelets while the boys cooked the fish.
Wyatt and Hallee had fun playing with trio blocks on Sunday.  I love when they rediscover old toys!
Wyatt is always picking up Jackson and carrying him around.  It's pretty cute!
