Let's get this party started!

Jonah turns five this week and we kicked off the celebration with my family yesterday.  He has been so excited.  Yesterday he kept saying "Did you forget to say Happy Birthday to me," to everyone he saw.  Since we have so many different parties he gets really confused as to when his actual birthday is.
Jonah shares a birthday with his Uncle Paul and Tiff is the week before so they all celebrate together.
He was really excited with his new robot.
Caitlyn gave him this baseball set.  Caitlyn was upset that it wasn't her birthday.  She is so emotional lately.  I reminded her how excited Jonah was for her on her birthday and she has been a good sport since then.
He was excited to get his own set of Lego's.  We had fun building a car last night.
He read his card from Grandma and Grandpa on his own.  Caitlyn helped him with a word or two, but he did the rest on his own.  I'm still amazed at how well he reads.  I love that Jonah loves to learn new things and really enjoys learning and challenging himself.
We all love my parents.  I love how they make my kids feel so special.
Jonah got so many great presents.  He slept with most of them last night and this morning he couldn't wait to get up and build his pirate ship.  Jonah and Keith put this together this morning.  You are supposed to color it first, but Jonah couldn't wait so he said he would color it after we built it.
Jonah and Wyatt had a great time playing in it today.
Wyatt even helped Jonah color.
Jonah and I had fun coloring the ship together.  I think I get almost as excited as my kids do for their birthdays.
