Love this girl

The other day Hallee was really fussy and wouldn't nap unless I held her.  I was more than happy to lay down with her and leave the other three for Keith!  I love holding a sleeping baby.
Hallee loves taking baths.  She gets so excited and waves her arms and kicks her legs.
Look at that perfect face.

I had to put this one in because it shows off her Mohawk so well!
She is starting to like tummy time.
We got so many cute outfits as gifts for Hallee.  Love this girl.

I take too many pictures

It is impossible to stay caught up on here because I take way too many pictures.  My blog book is getting more expensive every year.  Oh well, I don't think I will ever look back and wish I hadn't taken so many pictures.  I love all the cute dresses we have for Hallee.  It brings back fun memories from when Caitlyn was a baby when I see her in them.
I'm a little surprised at how much attention Jonah gives Hallee.  During church on Sunday, Jonah asked to hold Hallee.  They were smiling and talking to each other, it was so cute.
I love this picture of Keith playing with Hallee.
Jonah took this one of me and Hallee.
Last night we decorated Halloween cookies for family night.  The kids love frosting cookies, especially when they get to pile candy corns on top.
Here are the finished products.  We never did figure out what Wyatt was upset about.
We went from snow last week to warm weather again this week.  It is perfect weather for playing outside.

Trick or Treat

Last year Keith's company did a trick-or-treating event for the kids and we all loved it so we were excited that they did it again this year.  Keith likes to show off his cute kids and the kids love to get treats and do some crafts.  It was so cold this year that we had to take the crafts to go.
They had all of these really cool decorated pumpkins.  Wyatt loved this cookie monster one.  I'm not sure why Wyatt wouldn't look up in this picture.
Keith got a gift card to Cold Stone for Boss's Day so we decied to get some ice cream that night.  The kids loved picking out which flavor they wanted.
After all of that, Hallee and I were ready to go home so Keith took the other three kids to the Monster Mash event at the kid's school.  Keith said all the kids were shy and wouldn't really talk to anyone, but I think they still had fun.
Jonah was excited to see his teacher even though he didn't recognize her at first.  He loves his teacher.  She has been great with him and really helped him love school.

Costumes

The kids were excited to get dressed up in their costumes on Friday for some trick-or-treating at Keith's work.
Caitlyn really wanted to be a witch this year.  She sure makes a cute witch!
Jonah was excited to be a football player.
Wyatt was excited with his penguin costume.
Hallee makes a cute flower.  At least we think it is a flower, we got this costume for Caitlyn because it was cute and girly, but we were never quite sure what it was.  Either way she looked cute!

The first snow

I love how kids can make anything exciting.  It got really cold here last week and we had a little bit of snow one morning.  The kids were all so excited.  After we dropped the kids off at school I took Wyatt in the backyard to play in the snow.  Wyatt loved it.  He had his trusty rain boots on.  He loves these boots, he wants to wear them everywhere.
He loved seeing his footprints in the snow.
After walking in the snow he would go and stomp his feet on the concrete and laugh.
I can't wait to see how excited he is when we get a real snowstorm.
This is his sad face when I told him I had to go in and get Hallee.  Wyatt is seriously the funniest kid.  This morning at breakfast I'm pretty sure he was making fun of me.  I came in the kitchen and was frustrated to see that Jonah still hadn't finished his breakfast (my kids don't seem to understand the word hurry, probably because I say it way too often).  I said, "are you kidding me Jonah?"  Wyatt looks at Jonah and says, "she's like, are you kidding me?"  After that Wyatt started laughing and like he always does after he says something funny, he said, "oh, that's funny."   Wyatt the Riot is definitely an appropriate nickname for him.

Pictures

We needed a new picture of Jonah for the wall and I decided to try taking it myself.  I love how it turned out.  He is so handsome!
I had to ask him about all the cute girls in his class to get his real smile.  Whatever works, right?
He has always been a happy kid.  I told him not to smile in this one, he can't help, but smile.
There were a lot of cute ones to chose from.
I tried to get a few with all of the kids.  It was impossible to get them all looking at the camera.  Thanks to Emilee and photoshop we have a winner!

More random stuff

Saturday night, it was the boys turn for a late-over with grandma.  Jonah was so excited.  They had a great time making dinner, playing games, watching a movie and lots of rough housing!
Caitlyn and I decided we needed a date so we went to Sweet Tomatoes after we dropped Jonah off at grandma's.  It was nice to have some one-on-one time with her and just talk.
Hallee was asleep the whole time we were gone, so Keith got some one-on-one time with Wyatt.  Wyatt loves to play games.  Here they are playing war.  Wyatt is in such a fun stage right now.  I think this stage might be one of my favorite.  Every thing they say is cute.  He always says, "my" instead of  "I."  He has started saying, "I'm like."   He fell the other day and said, "I'm like whoa,"  then he laughed and said, "that's funny."  He loves to tell knock knock jokes and he loves to make everyone laugh.  When I tell him something I have told him a million times like, "don't draw on yourself with markers," he will say, "ooohhhh, okay."  It is much cuter to hear him say it!
Hallee has been liking the bumbo lately.  She is fine anywhere as long as someone is talking to her.  She loves to interact.
She pretty much has a mohawk now.  She has lost all her hair on both sides.  She still has all her hair in a long strip down the middle.
She is still sleeping great.  Now that she is sleeping great in her crib it is hard to get her to sleep other places.  She doesn't like to be rocked to sleep anymore, she just wants to be laid in her bed, so when we aren't home it's tricky.  She will still fall asleep in her carseat if we are in the car, but other than that it is hard to get her to sleep if she doesn't have her bed. She was so cute at church on Sunday. Keith took her during Sunday school and she was talking and cooing with him so loud that we almost had to take her out.  It was adorable, but very distracting! Keith got released from Primary and put in as the 1st counselor in the Young Mens presidency.  He is excited about it and has enjoyed it so far.  Keith's work schedule has been so great.  I don't know how I made it through all of those years of him working evenings.  He is usually home by 3:30 PM now.  It is wonderful.  He is busy with school, but I feel like we have so much more time with him.  The kids love having him home so early.
Today was crazy hair day at school.  There isn't a lot we can do with Jonah's so we bought some blue hair spray.  Jonah was a little nervous about it at first, but he ended up having a lot of fun with it.
I told Caitlyn she looked like someone out of a Dr Seuss book.
Cute kids!  I'm glad they aren't inhibited like their mother and have fun with things like this!  When Wyatt saw them this morning he just kept staring and saying, "hair."

Three months

Hallee is three months old today.  She is changing so quickly. She is not a huge fan of tummy time.  None of my kids have been.  She prefers her back.
She is becoming a thumb sucker.  More and more I catch her with her thumb in her mouth.  She also loves to suck on her whole fist.  She has started sleeping great in the last couple of weeks.  She will usually sleep around 11 hours each night.  Since she has started sleeping at night she has stopped sleeping during the day.  She usually just takes a bunch of cat naps.  Sometimes I can get a long stretch out of her, but usually it is when she is in the car seat.  It makes it hard to get things done during the day, but I would take the sleep at night any day!  I love waking up feeling rested, it has been a long time sine that has happened.
She is a really happy baby.  She loves to talk and interact with people.  This is the smile I get whenever I go to get her out of her crib.  It is the best feeling in the world when someone is so excited to see you that they get a huge smile on their face and wave their arms and legs around.  I bet my smile is about that big  because I'm just as excited to see her.
We all love to see her smile and hear those cute sounds she makes.  She always throws in a little fake cough with the cooing, it is so cute.  I love everything about her.  I love her chubby cheeks, her red hair, the one dimple she has on her right cheek, her easy going personality, the way her whole face lights up when she smiles and how she is perfectly content in my arms.  I just love this girl!

A day at the park

The kids didn't have school yesterday for UEA so we met up with some friends for a day at the park.  A few parks actually, there were four parks close to each other so we just went back and forth.  The kids were so excited to see Baylee and Elisha.  They have missed them so much since they moved.  Even Wyatt asks where they are all the time.
Wyatt and Logan had a great time playing together.  It was really cute to watch.  It is the perfect set up because everyone has a friend, including me! Even Hallee will have a friend to play with.  I was going to take a picture of the baby girls, but I never did.
The first park we went to was awesome.  I have been over by it plenty of times and never knew it was there.  It had so many cool things to play on.
Jonah was so excited with the park that he was screaming and laughing while he ran from thing to thing.  You would have thought I took him to Disneyland.
It started out a little cool, but ended up being the perfect temperature.  We got lunch and played for hours.  The kids never even complained or got bored, they had a great time.  They did need a drink every five seconds.  I will never understand why the kids never need a drink when we are home, but the second we are out they have to have a drink every five seconds.
Baylee and Caitlyn are great friends.  They both have easy going personalities and seem to love playing the same things.
Hallee was great and slept off and on and was happy while she was awake.
These two were so cute.  They had fun digging in the wood chips and throwing them.  That seems about right for boys!
Jonah was so excited with this garden they planted.  He told me that their tree had already grown a little.  This morning at breakfast he said to Caitlyn, "do you think our garden is okay, I sure hope our tree grows when it rains."  It was a perfect way to spend the day, the kids had a blast and I had a great time talking to Emilee.
