Sledding

I can't believe we haven't been sledding this year with all of the snow that we have had.  It has been so cold and we have been sick, but we decided that today was the day.  We had a short window in between Wyatt and Hallee's nap so we headed for the hills!
It was a perfect day for it.  It wasn't freezing and there was no wind.  Hallee was okay in her sled for a few minutes and then she wanted to be held.  I think she was warm enough, but she didn't like the sun in her eyes.
Wyatt was excited all morning until we got there.  I guess he didn't really understand what sledding was.  He wanted nothing to do with it.  He cried and wanted us to hold him, he didn't even want to stand in the snow.
He wanted to go play at the park.
He was happy with that for a minute and then he pretty much whined the rest of the time.  He just wanted to go home.  I finally got him to sit in the sled and just watch the kids.
Right before we left I took him (against his will) down the hill once.  I think he liked it more than he thought he would, but he still didn't want to go again.
Caitlyn was pouting all morning saying she didn't want to go.  She was nervous that it would be crowded.  Luckily we had the hill to ourselves.  She had a blast.  At one point she came over to me and said, "sorry about my attitude earlier, I love sledding!"
Caitlyn wanted Keith and I to take turns going down with her.
They ended up falling out of the sled, but they still look happy!
I had so much fun going down the hill with the kids.  Jonah has no fear and loves to go fast.  I don't have any good pictures of him because he was usually backwards or going so fast that I couldn't get the picture.
I love Jonah's face in this one and I love that Caitlyn is holding on to him for dear life.
These kids are so lucky to have such a nice dad.  They wanted him to pull them up the hill.
I love how they all have their eyes closed.
We had a lot of fun.  I'm glad we finally went sledding.

The pictures are great, especially the first one of Caitlyn and Jonah! Good job! It looked like fun.
