Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day.  I slept in and Keith made me breakfast in bed.  It was wonderful.  The kids all made me cute cards and we had fun playing before church.  They spoiled us at church.  We all got corsages and they gave all of the kids flowers to bring back to their mom's after they finished singing in Sacrament Meeting.  I loved watching my kids singing up there.  This was the first year Wyatt did it and it was so cute.  They also gave us cheesecake and chocolate dipped strawberries in Relief Society. After church we came home and Keith barbecued us some hamburgers and chicken.  It was so good.
After that we went to Kelly's house to celebrate with Keith's family.  We had dessert and had fun visiting.
It isn't very often that Keith's whole family is together so it was nice to be with everyone.
Kelly gave all of the kids bubbles and they couldn't wait to get outside and play with them.  Jonah had a lot of fun playing with Jacob and Caitlyn and Brinlee had fun playing dolls.  It is funny that our kids are the same age as the great grandchildren!
Wyatt took his teacher a Mother's day card.  She is single and has never been married, but I wanted to make sure that she was remembered on Mother's day.  I know Mother's day is a very difficult day for a lot of people and I think Wyatt made her day a little bit better!
Yesterday during Sacrament meeting Hallee went back and sat with a lady from our ward.  She has played with her a little bit in Relief Society, but Hallee is not one to go to other people.  Hallee stayed with her the whole time.  Keith and I were both really surprised. After the meeting this lady told us that this was her first time being alone at church on Mother's day and she was dreading it.  She has been through some rough things lately and she was so thrilled that Hallee sat with her.  They played together all through Sunday School too.
After Kelly's we headed over to my parents for more dessert.  The kids had fun playing with their cousins and I had fun visiting.  I am sure grateful for my mom.  She is the best mom and grandma.  I told her she was born to be a mother, that is why she gets to do it twice!

They don't come any better than Peg. She is a saint and we are all better people to have her influence in our lives! That is a great picture of you two.
