We have had a great Christmas Vacation. I'm so glad we were able to move into the house the weekend before. We worked on the house some, but it didn't consume our vacation. It was fun having my family over to see the house. The kids loved having their cousins over.
Keith and Jonah went and saw the new Star Wars movie. Jonah is beyond excited that he could see the movie. He has watched two of the other movies and he loves them. I'm glad he can share that with Keith so I don't have to!
Caitlyn had horseback riding in the morning during the break. One week Mel took Caitlyn and Jonah home for a sleepover and the next week we took Amarie home for a sleepover and Jonah went to grandma's for a boys sleepover.
The day after the sleepovers we met at Seven Peaks Fun Center. It was so crowded, but the kids still had fun. We ended up buying tokens because all of the free activities had really long lines.
Jonah and Dante played a round of glow golf.
The kids had fun rock climbing.
Hallee and Wyatt had a lot of fun in the play land. I was glad they were having fun because there isn't much there for Hallee. It was a fun afternoon.
We have spent a lot of time playing at home. Caitlyn and Jonah have been fighting a lot, but they have a lot of fun together too. Wyatt loves his new guns. The kids also love dress up. They have had fun playing with their new Christmas toys.
Jonah loves his teacher at his new school. He always manages to get the cute, young teachers and he loves it. He said that Ms. T (Titmus) is so funny! She made every child in the class one of these hats. It has his name on the back! I'm so grateful for good teachers.
Caitlyn and Jonah have been missing their friends from West Valley. Yesterday I went and picked up their friends and brought them over to play for the day. Katelyn and Caitlyn had a great time together. Kristin and Emily came over to see the house too. Emily had fun playing with the older girls.
Jonah was thrilled to have Ryelin over. These boys have missed each other. Another boy from Jonah's class called him the other day just to see how he was doing and tell Jonah that everyone misses him. Jonah and Ryelin had a great time together and they were great to let Wyatt play. Jenna and Ammon came and saw the house when they picked Katelyn up. I was so grateful that Ryelin and Katelyn's parents would drive out here and pick them up. It was so good for Caitlyn and Jonah to have that time with their friends. Jonah misses French so much. I think he is surprised how much he misses it. It was nice that he could use his French with Ryelin yesterday.
We had a great Christmas Vacation. I'm sad that it is already over. It was hard to move in December because I feel like I missed out on the holiday season, my favorite time of the year! December went by so fast! I am excited to get back in a routine after being unsettled for a month. I'm really hoping we can get back on track and have more structure.
