Downtown

Katie's kids were off track this week so we went downtown with them on Monday.  We have taken our kids downtown a few times and we always have a great time.  We started out in the Planetarium.  

We had fun looking around for a while. You can tell that Wyatt is thrilled to stop playing for a picture.

Hallee is so dramatic, she is either so happy or so mad!  At my parents house the other night Hallee came in and asked me if it was time to go and I told her that it was, she yelled, "ugh, I hate my life!"  While we were at the planetarium Hallee had fun for a while and then she decided that she wanted to leave so she started saying, "Don't ever take me downtown again."  Later she told me she loved downtown.  She is a funny girl!

Wyatt is sure looking grown up.  He loved every thing about the day.  He loved looking at everything and being with his friends.  Audrey and the kids came too, we sure missed Tiff and her kids!

It was fun to spend time with these two.  I can't believe it is almost time for summer break!

After the planetarium we took the train over to City Creek for lunch.  We learned our lesson last time and we got on and off the train much more efficiently this time and we always made sure an adult went on first!

Hallee loved the train.  I think that is when she started liking downtown again. 

The train wasn't very crowded on our first two rides, which made everything so much easier.  People would clear out when they saw our crew get on, so we were able to get seats by each other.  On our last train ride, when we took the wrong train, the train was packed and no one moved.  The kids all fell on the floor when the train started moving.  Luckily, Hallee had a seat because she would not have handled that well.

We got some lunch in the food court.  The kids had a blast playing in the play land.

After lunch we took the train over to the Church History Museum.  They had a new children's exhibit.  The kids loved it.

I loved how they had it set up.  It was a big open room so it was easy to keep your eye on the kids while they went from activity to activity.

It still makes me so happy to see Katie with Kenzie, it was such a long journey to get Kenzie here.  Kenzie and Kyle were both so good.  Kyle had fun playing, but he did great at just hanging out in his stroller.

Eva is such a cutie.  She was always keeping her eye on all of the kids and got nervous if one wandered away. 

Hallee liked all of the different activities.  She was thrilled with the coloring table.  She couldn't believe that she could have as many little colored papers as she wanted!

Love this cute girl.  I'm so glad we went.  It was a fun way to spend the day and it was great that all of the activities were free!
