We had a great long weekend. We started on Friday night with the Becks. We met them at a park in Saratoga Springs. It was a really fun park. All the kids were happy and entertained for hours.
Adam and Keith are such fun dads!
There was a guy in a Spider-man costume. It was a little weird because I'm not sure why he was there, he climbed the big ropes for a while and then just walked home. Wyatt thought it was cool. It was a fun night, I always enjoy visiting with Emilee and Adam.
On Saturday we decided to go swimming after Wyatt's soccer game. We invited Katie and Ben to come along. The Rec Center was packed, but we had a lot of fun. Jonah brought two of his friends, but I didn't get any pictures of them. It was fun to see all of the kids having so much fun.
We went to Golden Corral for dinner. It was nice to visit with Katie and Ben during dinner while the kids enjoyed their food. Hallee especially liked the chocolate fountain!
On Sunday we had my family over for a barbecue. I will do a separate post on that.
On Monday we went to Lagoon. I was afraid it would be packed, but it really wasn't bad. The weather was great and it ended up being a perfect day to go.
We were so excited that Katie and Ben came along and decided to get season passes. We got there right when the park opened so we went straight to Cannibal to try and avoid the long line. Caitlyn and Jonah decided they were going to ride Cannibal this time and they did it! I think having Kiara there helped them, but they were so brave. Ben and I took these three on the ride. It is such a fun ride. I still can't believe that Caitlyn is riding these huge roller coasters, she was terrified just a few months ago.
Katie and I had fun taking the little kids on the train while the older kids rode rides with Ben and Keith.
Wyatt was brave and rode Puff the magic dragon. Both him and Boston were nervous, but they did it. Boston didn't like it, but Wyatt did. Boston and Wyatt had a great time riding all the rides together, they are such good friends.
I love those huge smiles on their faces. Hallee tried the jeeps this time. She hated them, but she was brave. She had this terrified look on her face every time they turned the corner, but she would wave at me every time she rode by.
We took turns going on rides with the older ones and watching the little kids ride the smaller rides. Katie and I laughed the whole time we rode the log ride together. We had so much fun. Everyone was happy and had a blast together. We can't wait to go back!
