We wanted to do something fun on Saturday so we decided to take the front runner downtown. We all liked taking the train, it was a lot of fun.
It probably wasn't the best weekend to do it with Comic Con going on at the same time. We saw some interesting people! The kids wanted their picture with Bert and Ernie. We aren't really sure how they fit in with Comic Con, but the kids thought it was fun.
When we got downtown we went to the Church History Museum. We walked around downstairs and saw the exhibit on Joseph Smith.
Hallee loved cooking over the fire.
We were able to watch the video they had about Joseph Smith. It is only eight minutes long, but it was so powerful. It showed him going into the woods to pray and Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ visiting him. It was amazing, Caityn bore her testimony about it the next day at church, I think it had a big impact on her and Jonah.
After we looked at everything downstairs we went upstairs to the children's area. The kids had a lot of fun. We ended up staying a lot longer than we thought we would.
After that we went over to the Planetarium, but everything was under construction, so we headed back to the train. Jonah had fun doing pull-ups on the train. It was a fun way to spend the day.
