Friend Party

We went back and forth on doing a friend party for Jonah.  I'm getting burned out of birthday parties and as the kids get older they don't really know what they want to do for their parties.  We finally decided to do one because Jonah really wanted to and we were able to book the church so the boys could just play sports.
I decided to give Jonah one last birthday present and pick up his friends from his old school to spend the day on Friday before the party.  Jonah loved having Gaven and Ryelin over.  They had a great time playing together all afternoon.
Jonah's friend Ky had his birthday a few days before Jonah.  They decided that they wanted to do a joint party.  Aren't my donuts cute?  I saw the idea on facebook and was excited that it was something I could actually do!
They invited the boys from the ward and a couple of boys from school.   I'm so glad Jonah has such a great group of boys here.  They are all good boys and they all loves sports so Jonah fits right in.
This was an easy party.  Tasha (Ky's mom) brought pizza and I brought snacks and drinks. The boys ate and then started playing sports and had a blast.  They started with soccer and then moved on to basketball.
We had them stop playing long enough to open presents and eat a donut.
Almost every present was some kind of ball, Jonah was in heaven.  He loved all of his presents.
After that they played football until their parents came to pick them up.  They all had a blast.  Jonah loved every minute of the party, it was the perfect party for him.
