Ice Blocking

On Friday afternoon we went ice blocking. 

 

It was a little rough at first because the grass was dead.  The kids loved it.

I loved watching their faces while they went down.  Matt got a Go Pro camera and he let the kids record themselves while they went down and we could watch it on his phone, it was hilarious! 

It took the kids a while to figure it out.  The hardest part is figuring out where to put your feet. 

I was a little surprised that Hallee got right on and did it.  She fell once and was a little nervous about getting back on, but she did it. 

I love that Hallee is getting so adventurous. 

Elena's laugh is so fun, it makes me smile every time I hear it. 

The kids all had fun going down the hill.  I went down once, it was fun. 

The clouds were so pretty. 

Jonah and Cody had fun playing catch. 

Keith and Caitlyn had fun playing together. 

The field had a huge sidewalk around it, I'm sure it was at least a half mile.  Wyatt rode around three times on his scooter and Hallee ran the whole thing next to Elena while she rode her scooter. 

When she got back she sat down on the ground and said she was so tired and thirsty!  We had so much fun, we ended up staying for a few hours.
