Caitlyn has been so excited to turn twelve because that meant she could go to the temple to do baptisms for the dead. When she had her twelve year old interview with the bishop she asked him if she could get her recommend. He printed it out and brought it over after her birthday.
Last Thursday night Keith and I took Caitlyn to the Provo temple. Caitlyn was so excited. I thought I would just watch and show Caitlyn around since we didn't have family names, but someone had family names that they needed help with so Keith and I both got to do baptisms with Caitlyn. Keith was able to baptize and confirm both of us as well, it was so great! I loved sitting in there with Caitlyn. She was so excited and just soaked it all in.
Caitlyn immediately asked when we could come back. It was a great night. I'm so glad Caitlyn is so excited about the temple and has a desire to be there. She bore a beautiful testimony about the temple on Sunday. After the temple we stopped and got shakes, it was a night to remember!
