Kindergarten Program

Hallee had her Kindergarten program yesterday.  She was so excited for it she was counting down the days.
She knew all of the songs.
Wyatt did the same program last year, it is really cute.  They tell a story about the Wolf's Chicken Stew.
Hallee is so expressive when she sings and when she talks!
She had a speaking part and she did a great job with it.
One song had such cute hand movements.
Hallee loved having grandma there to watch her. Keith left work to come watch the program too, Hallee was so happy to have daddy there.
After the program we went to Hallee's class for a cookie.  She was so proud of herself, she did a great job!

Living large

We went back and forth on walking down the strip and looking into shows and then Matt and Lori had a great idea to rent a limo instead.  It cost a lot less than any shows would have.  The kids were so excited, especially when they saw the limo.
It was so fun inside.  There were lights and music and the kids loved it.
Wyatt had fun dancing to the music.
Cool kids!
It was really big inside.  It had two end seats and then a big bench in the middle.  It had a wet bar on the other side.
We were able to point out all of the hotels and cool things to see to the kids.  It was crazy windy, so we were happy to be in the car instead of walking.
Wyatt wanted to sit in the back with Matt and Lori.
Stud!
Cody and Jonah had fun laying down while they looked at themselves in the mirror.  We rented the limo for an hour.  That gave us enough time to go up and down the strip once (the traffic is crazy).  It was great to be able to look around instead of driving.
Caitlyn acted all fancy and wouldn't get out until Keith gave her his hand to escort her out.  Ha!
Can't you see Jonah as a famous athlete getting out of his limo, just playing it cool.
We all loved the limo ride and are glad we did it!
Our hotel room was really nice.  It had a bedroom with a king size bed and a front room with a sleeper sofa.  Wyatt slept in a cot in our room and Hallee slept on the couch cushions on the floor in our room.  Caitlyn and Jonah slept in the living room.  We let the older kids have a sleep over on the last night.  The boys were in our room and could not stop laughing.  I loved hearing them laughing and having fun together.
Our hotel rooms were across the hall from each other which made it so nice.  At night the kids would go in one room and play games and the adults would play games in the others.  It was a great set up and so much fun!
On Monday we had to check out by 10 AM.  We stopped to get a picture at the Las Vegas sign.
The kids did not want to say goodbye yet.
We decided to go to Jack-in-the-Box before we separated to go home.  It was great to have a little more time to visit.  After that we had to say goodbye and head home.  We had a very long ride home.  The traffic was horrible and there was snow on and off.  Hallee got car sick and threw up twice.  We were all thrilled when we finally made it home.  It was worth it for such a fun weekend though.  It was definitely a weekend to remember!

Las Vegas Temple

We thought it would be fun to drive over and see the temple on Sunday.  The temple grounds were beautiful.
I loved having time away from home with these guys.
I loved seeing how much fun the kids had together.  They didn't care what we were doing as long as they were together.
They got tired of all of our pictures, but they didn't say no to any of them!
After I took a bunch of pictures Cody said the adults should have a turn, I think he thought it would be annoying like it is to them when I want to take their pictures, but we were happy about it!
Cody is a crack up!  He is such a kind boy with a great sense of humor.
Getting all of them to jump at the same time is impossible!
We had fun walking around the temple grounds.  The kids even asked us to take pictures a few times.
Cousins really do make the best friends!

The pools

The hotel had a giant lazy river, a big pool with a beach and a few hot tubs.  It was so much fun.  The kids couldn't wait to swim every day.
On Friday we went to the lazy river.  It was pretty cold outside for swimming, but they kept the water heated so it was only cold when you got out.
The kids loved the lazy river, the tubes made it really fun.
I loved having this time with Matt and Lori.  We had so much fun visiting and playing games with them.  They always make everything fun.
Jonah was so excited to see Cody he could hardly stand it.  He had a hard time saying goodbye.
Of course Cody and Jonah found a way to make it dangerous.
And of course I took a picture before I told them to stop, actually the life guard told them to stop.
Wyatt was thrilled that he could reach in the lazy river.  He loved to float around and play with the boys.
They had an adult only hot tub and one that kids could go in.
The kids loved sitting in the hot tub and covering Keith with bubbles.
Katie is the one that told us about this hotel so she told me what to expect, which was great.  We brought sand toys for the beach.  I love this view, it really was a beautiful place.
Hallee had fun playing in the sand.
Wyatt played in the sand for a little while, but he liked playing in the water more.
Jonah and Cody played in the sand for a short time.  Elena and Caitlyn had fun playing in the sand and the water and mixing them together.
My kids love spending time with uncle Matt and aunt Lori.
Me, Matt and Wyatt dried off and watched the other kids play for a while.
I think Wyatt could get used to this!
The boys love when Keith chases them around the pool.
They all tried to save each other when one of them got caught.
We swam for a few hours every day.  The kids could have gone all day.
