On Friday Wyatt went to school, but Jonah stayed home. We went to the gym and the boys played basketball while I worked out.
After the gym we ate lunch and then picked up Wyatt from school and went back to the gym to swim.
Jonah and Jacob loved jumping off the cliff.
They also loved the rock wall and the water slides.
We swam for a few hours before the kids were ready to go home.
Wyatt and Ammon loved playing football in the lazy river.
That night we watched a movie. Ammon and Jacob had fun with Jackson. Ammon was a little nervous at first so we kept Jackson away form him, but it didn't take long for him to be comfortable. They loved to rub his belly and try to get him to do tricks.
On Saturday Wyatt and Jonah had a basketball game at the same time. I took Jacob and we went to Jonah's game and Ammon went with Keith to Wyatt and Rockwell's game. We stopped at sonic on the way home from Jonah's game. Jacob and Jonah came home and mixed their drinks together. Funny boys.
Saturday evening was our big youth fundraiser. They do a spaghetti dinner and auction. It is a huge undertaking, but it brings in a lot of money. Julie and the girls drove up from Idaho that day (they were there for their dance competition) I was so sad that I couldn't join them, Mel and Tiff for dinner and a movie that night. It was so hard to go to the fundraiser instead, but I just didn't feel right about not going since it is so much work. I was busy all night, I ended up being in charge heating up all of the food and making sure the food table was always full. Keith was great and took care of all of the kids while I was busy working. The boys had fun playing that night. I was so proud of Caitlyn, she worked so hard. She helped with the food and then helped watch all of the kids during the auction (which turned out to be crazy and I will not let the beehives do that again next year). I loved seeing her work hard the whole time.
I learned that the trick to getting these boys some sleep is to get them in bed early! I would let them have a little bit of time on their electronics and then some reading time before lights out. It probably helped that they were exhausted from not sleeping much the first night. I loved walking down and finding Jacob and Jonah reading together, it was so sweet!
These boys are two peas in a pod. They are so similar! I loved hearing them talk about how they were both going to go to BYU and one of them would take the test to get in and give the other one the answers to make sure they both get in. They are going to be roommates and live in our shed. Sounds like a perfect plan!
