Keeping busy

We have managed to stay pretty busy during these first couple of weeks of summer. Wyatt and Rockwell had soccer practice in Lindon so Tiff and I took the kids up to Provo Canyon after.
The kids had a blast as usual.  They loved throwing rocks in the water.
I love how much fun these guys have together.
The older two were off doing other things so it was just Wyatt and Hallee that day.
Wyatt and Rockwell found rocks and broke them and each took a piece, they said they were their best friend rocks.
Jonah had basketball camp at Provo High last week.  He loved having so many of his friends there.
Jonah got a trophy for his team taking 1st place in the 3-on-3 tournament.  He also got second place for free-throws and 3rd place for horse and one-on-one.  Sometimes he doubts his abilities in basketball, but I think that helped his confidence.
Jonah also had soccer try outs last week.  Christian and Jonah decided to try out for a competition team.  They were so hopeful that they would make it on the same team.  They held one last tryout on Saturday and it was tough.  They ran over 3 and a half miles and did a ton of drills and then a scrimmage.  There were over 20 boys there and only 5-6 spots.  We were all thrilled to hear that Jonah and Christian made the team!  They are excited to play together and Angie and I are excited too!
Wyatt had his last Lindon soccer game on Saturday.  I was so sad that it was at the same time as Jonah's try outs so I missed it.  Keith said he made two awesome goals.  One of them he dribbled around three kids from the other team to get it down the field and score the goal. Nice job Wyatt!
Caitlyn was invited to two end of school year parties.  One of them turned into a big water fight, she loved that.  The other one was at her friend Paris' house.  When Keith picked Caitlyn up Paris's mom pulled him aside and told him how grateful they are for Caitlyn. She said Paris is more social and confident this year and she thinks it is all because of Caitlyn and how kind and inclusive she is.  She really is a sweetheart.
Jonah has loved playing with his friends all day.  They make their way around the neighborhood and play at everyone's house.  One day Erin took all of the boys to hike the Y.  She is a brave woman!  She said they all did great and had fun.
This handsome guy graduated from High School on Thursday.  Caitlyn and I went down for the graduation.  I can't believe EJ is all grown up.  I have loved every minute of being his aunt.  He is kind, athletic, hard working, righteous and he has an awesome sense of humor.  He is headed for a great life.
I loved being there to see him graduate.
It worked out great that Amarie had a dance recital that night, so we stayed for that.  She is a beautiful dancer.  I love to watch her dance, she is so graceful and a great performer.  Caitlyn had fun staying with them for a couple of days last week.  We love spending time with cousins during the summer.
