Wyatt got baptized on Saturday. He was so excited!
Caitlyn stayed over night at Mel's and Jonah was at my mom's so it was just Wyatt and Hallee at home that morning. His baptism wasn't until 11:30, which was nice because we weren't rushing around in the morning.
We got there early so Wyatt and Keith could change.
Good looking guys!
I sure love this boy. His smile and laugh are the best! He was so excited and happy all day.
Caitlyn and Jonah have been working on baptism songs at piano so they played the prelude music and played songs while we were waiting for the boys to change.
They both did a great job, it was fun to have them involved in the program.
I sure love this cute family of mine.
Wyatt was baptized with Abram from our ward. It was just the two of them so they split up the program. Wyatt chose grandma Ham to speak on the gift of the Holy Ghost. He has been planning this since she spoke at Rockwell's baptism. She did a great job and brought them boys gifts to remind them about what the Holy Ghost can do for us. Abram's mom, who is also Wyatt's primary teacher, spoke on baptism. It was a great program.
Wyatt was glad that grandpa Loosli came down for the baptism. He and grandpa Ham were the witnesses.
I can't believe these cute boys are 8-years-old. It seems like just yesterday they were babies.
Here are all of the men that stood in the circle. Keith gave Wyatt a beautiful blessing during the conformation. I loved watching Wyatt's face through out the baptism. I felt the Spirit and felt calm and was able to enjoy the day, which was a big blessing because my anxiety had been through the roof the day before. I'm so proud of Wyatt for his desire to follow his Savior Jesus Christ. He said he felt good and happy during his baptism.
After the baptism we all went to Café Rio for lunch. We went back and forth on doing a luncheon or different options, but we settled on Café Rio and it was perfect. It was so great not to have extra stress and just be able to enjoy the day.
My family came, Keith's dad and Audrey and Jason. We missed those that couldn't come. I'm so grateful for everyone supporting us and Wyatt. Wyatt felt very loved.
We had a nice time eating and visiting. After the lunch Keith and I were able to go to the temple. It was a great way to end a great day.
When we came home we gave Wyatt a set of new scriptures.
He loves that they have his name on them and he loves his new case. I'm excited to see Wyatt learn and grow in the gospel. He is going to do great things!
