Life Lately

Wyatt had to write a book report once a month for the past few months.  He got to do a project with each book.  He made a T-shirt one month.  He had fun doing that.
Caitlyn wanted to do an activity with Alexa for her birthday, but Alexa was out of town, so it didn't happen until a few weeks ago.  They went to Lowes Xtreme Airsports.  Caitlyn loves it there!
Caitlyn went to her first church dance.  She was excited to go with her friends from school.  Her and Alexa thought you had to dress up, but apparently it was casual.  Caitlyn felt embarrassed that she was dressed up and didn't have much fun.  She asked us to come get her.  Hopefully she will give it another try.  She sure looked pretty!
Jonah had his 6th grade country report.  Katie and Ben let him borrow things they got in France.  It made it nice and easy for him.
Caitlyn and Jonah came with me and Tiff to Alexy's dance concert.  Alexys was thrilled that Jonah wanted to come watch her, that meant a lot to her.  Alexys is a beautiful dancer.  She has always had a talent for it and been a beautiful performer.
Hallee is amazing!  I was having a grouchy day and Hallee disappeared into her room and said she was working on a surprise for mom and dad.  She came out with this note.  Her handwriting, language skills, vocabulary and spelling are well beyond her six years.
It said, "Dear mom, I love you so much.  You are the greatest person on earth.  If I had to choose a mom I would choose you.  You are silly and kind.  Also loveing.  She is like a floating star at night glowing really bright. You are reall humble.  You are smart.  You are just he greatest person on earth.  I am so great full for a mom like you.  If you were not here on this earth I would be so so sad cause your the best mom!"
"Dear Dad, I love you dad so much. You are funn and kind.  You are the best dad! on earth.  You are like a floating star in the sky shine so bright at night.  If you were not here with me I will be so sad.  You are smart.  You like to play games with me. You are loveing and cool. If I had to choose a dad I would toatly choose you!  You help tech me.  You are humble and kind.  I wish you did not go to work so you could spend time with me. You help guid me through hard thing.  You forgive others too.  You are just the best! I am greatful for a great dad like you! I love you two so so so so so so so so so much.  Love Hallee and I know you love me!"
She colored this picture on the other side of the note.  Seriously, she is unreal.  She is such a sweetheart.  You never would believe she used to be a two-year-old that hit me and tell me to shut up!
Hallee has been coming out of her room at night to show me things in her book or tell me she is scared.  It is really hard to get mad at her when she looks so adorable!
On Sunday I took a nap and when I woke up I went downstairs to find the kids and they were playing a get to know you game! Each one would take a turn and ask the others questions about themselves.  They were having so much fun together.  I love that!
We have been watching the NBA playoffs every chance we get.  Every game Hallee asks, "who do we want to win?"  Jonah was laying on me and I told Wyatt to hurry and take a picture. I had to grab Jonah at that point because he tried to escape.  Jonah is always worried I'm going to embarrass him!
