Tennis Wrap Up

We had the Tennis Banquet last week and they shared some photos with us, so I wanted to save some of them on here.
Here is the whole group.  Caitlyn loved getting to know all of these girls.
Caitlyn was a little late to the game, but she started practicing a few weeks before school started.
Starting High School is a scary thing!  Starting tennis a couple of weeks before school started helped Caitlyn so much.  She was able to meet people and make new friends and she loved being a part of something at the High School.
She became good friends with Emma.
The tournament in St. George was definitely a highlight for Caitlyn.
She loved spending so much time with the girls and really getting to know them.
I think she loved the freedom that came with a trip with no parents!  I'm so grateful that Caitlyn has earned our trust so she can have the freedom to have these experiences.
Every week they would have team dinners.  I was nervous about this, but luckily there was people who were willing to host and all I had to do was help bring food.  Caitlyn loved the team dinners.
The tennis matches were really long, so these girls had plenty of time to hang out and have fun together.
Caitlyn had tennis practice very day for two hours after school.  Most weeks she had two matches and sometimes she would have three in a week.  She never complained, she loved every minute of it.  It was so fun to see her find something that she loves!
I was so happy that Caitlyn spent time with the girls outside of tennis.  It's nice for her to have friends around here that she can call when she wants to hang out. Here they are at the football game.
They called the girls up in classes.  Here are the freshman.
Caitlyn got an academic award for having a high GPA.  I'm so proud of Caitlyn for working hard in Tennis and in school.  High school has been an adjustment for her, but she has handled it well!
