I don't get it, Jonah is a teacher now, but I don't see him teach.

Hallee's mind is always working, she is constantly thinking and questioning things.  The other day when we were getting ready for church she said, "I don't get it, Jonah is a teacher now, but I don't see him teach." I explained the offices of the priesthood to her and it seemed to answer her question.  Her questions are either really deep or really funny!
A few months ago I saw that they were having a Time Out For Women in Layton. Audrey couldn't come, but Tiff and Katie wanted to go too.
I was excited about a few of the speakers.  Emily Belle Freeman, Anthony Sweat and Jane Clayson Johnson were who I was most excited for.  Jane Clayson Johnson wrote a book about depression and how it affects people in the church.  She interviewed hundreds of people and shared a lot of their stories.  I could relate to a lot of things in the book and it helped give voice to things that I couldn't articulate.  I'm grateful that she was willing to be vulnerable and share her story in hopes of helping others.  She gave a great presentation.
I was also excited that Calee Reed would be there.  I really like her and I love her music.  On Friday they had a question and answer with the presenters and then Calle sang.  She was so good.  We stayed in a hotel across the street, which was so convenient.
The Bonner Family was there on Saturday.  I loved hearing them and fell in love with their music.  On Saturday we went to lunch in-between sessions.  It was nice to have time to visit.  I really enjoyed all of the speakers and I'm really glad that I went.
Jonah wrapped up his regular basketball season.  His team worked hard and did well. Now it's onto the March league and soccer.
Every day Caitlyn thinks she has passed Keith in height, so she wants to measure.  She still has a few inches to go.
We took the mattresses out of Caitlyn's closet and she was so excited to do hand stands in her closet, she is a funny girl.
Hallee wanted to plan a lesson for one of her goals.  She made a game of gospel charades for us to play.  We had fun playing and she loved being in charge!
I love finding beautiful selfies of Caitlyn on my phone.
Wyatt told me that he really wanted to take a break dancing class.  I started looking around and then kind of forgot about it.  He kept bringing it up, so I got serious about looking.  We found a class and he went for the first time last week.  He loved it.  I was so impressed with the teacher and he really liked her.  I think it will be a great fit for Wyatt.  He already learned a lot in only one class.
He has had fun showing us his moves and practicing all week.  This is called the baby freeze.  The teacher told him that it will take a lot of practice to get this move down.  He was so excited to show us last night that he can do it.
We have had some warm Spring days and we love it!  Friday it was warm and beautiful so I took Hallee and Wyatt to the parkway after school.
It was so good to feel the sun shining on us.
Hallee and Wyatt had fun picking up big sticks and throwing them in the water.
They were happy that the tree swing was still there.
We love Spring weather!
Elijah's team made it to the state play offs.  The game was at the University of Utah.  It was so fun to go see him play.
Elijah is a great athlete and I have always loved to watch him play sports.  It is sad that he will be going off to college next year.  Not only is he a great athlete, but he is an amazing, patient, wise leader.  He was captain of the team this year and I was so impressed with how hard he worked and how he handled things that didn't make any sense and weren't fair.  Elijah taught me a lot about accepting what is and making the best of it.

I love Hallee's questions and that she did a lesson for a goal and made up a game! She's a smart little 7 year old! The time out for women did look great and I'm so glad you got to go! Caitlyn is funny wanting to do a handstand in her closet! She is getting tall. It was great watching Elijah play basketball, wasn't it? We will all miss him next year but I'm glad he's doing good things with his life! Great blog Al!
