Birthday Boy

Thursday night Caitlyn and I met Mel, Amarie, Mel and Tiff at Scera to see The Scarlet Pimpernel.
It was a perfect evening.  The weather and scenery was beautiful, the company was great and the play was so good.  I was surprised with how funny it was.  It was a great escape from all of the craziness in the world.
Saturday morning Caitlyn had a tennis tournament.  She had two matches and she did great.  She had so many great hits and returns. I still don't know a lot about tennis, but I love watching her play.
She lost the first match and won the second.  They are having tournaments throughout the summer and it will be a great way for Caitlyn to get practice and experience.
Saturday was Keith's birthday.  The kids were excited for him to open his presents after the tennis match.
I took Hallee to the store so she could pick out his favorite treats.  She is always so thoughtful and generous.
We got Keith a new smart watch.  I asked Kyle to help me find the best one.  Keith is very happy with it.  It has all of the features he wanted.
Keith wanted to go to Bridal Veil Falls on Saturday.
The kids were all cooperative since it was his birthday.  They are really good at spoiling people on their birthdays.
They had a shaved ice truck up there so we decided to get one for everyone.  They were so good.
After we finished our shaved ice the kids had fun playing in the water and climbing on the rocks.
Jonah climbed all the way up to the waterfall.  you can see him at the bottom of the waterfall if you look close.  He came down the trail instead of back down the rocks.  I don't know how he did it in his sandals.
Hallee and Wyatt had fun playing in the water.  They were making a dam with the rocks. After that we stopped and got lunch at one of Keith's favorite places, Burger Supreme.
Caitlyn made Keith a chocolate sheet cake.  It was so good!  I'm so glad she likes to bake!  I think Keith had a nice birthday.
On Sunday we went to my parents to celebrate mine and Keith's birthdays.  Kyle and Paige played with the kids and they all loved it so much.  They are both so fun and sweet with the kids.  Paige told them all to make a funny face, but Damon and Hallee just smiled.
It thought it was really cute that all of the cousins were playing hands-up stands-up.   I love that they will all have so many fun memories from grandma's house.
Jonah and Wyatt have been giving a lot of shoulder rides lately.  Wyatt is looking so grown up!
