One afternoon we went up to South Fork while Lori was here. It was cool up there in the shade! It felt so good, it has been so hot.
The water was freezing, but that didn't stop the kids from getting wet.
Hallee and Tessa wanted me to watch them stick their heads in the water.
They had a blast playing in the water and taking buckets of water over to water their garden.
Every time we come up here the girls will play in this area and "plant" seeds and call it their garden. They were surprised and so happy to see their garden full of flowers. Hallee was sure they had a big hand in making these flowers grow.
Rockwell and Wyatt spent a lot of their time in the water and hiking around.
The girls had fun playing games. All of the kids played hide-and-seek. I was a little nervous about that, but luckily everyone was found!
Mel offered Jonah and Cody $1 to stick their heads in the river. I was surprised that they hopped right up and did it.
I would have thought it would take more than that, but they were happy to do it for a dollar.

That was a fun day. And yes, I'm glad everyone was found. :)
That really was a fun afternoon and I loved the break from the heat! I enjoyed seeing the kids all having so much fun and Hallee and Tessa feeling so excited with their garden! I'm so glad we did that and so many fun things while Matt, Lori and the kids were here!
