Jonah's birthday was on a Tuesday, so he had school. I think he liked the attention he got at school for his birthday. I kept asking Jonah what he wanted to do for his birthday and he had no ideas. Ky's birthday is a few days before his so they went Lowes on Friday. They decided that they wanted to go again so I dropped them off yesterday afternoon. Jonah loved it.
Angie picked the boys up so I was able to have dinner waiting for Jonah when he got home. He requested french toast with whipped cream and strawberries.
We didn't have dessert since we basically ate dessert for dinner, so we put candles in his french toast.
Hallee and Caitlyn chipped in to get Jonah a visor. Hallee made Jonah a card in school and she thought it was so funny when she told him to read it outloud.
It says, "Dear Jonah, Happy birthday Jonah. Your the best big brother ever your fun and nice and funny your awesome. I had a dream that I would have an awesome big brother I guess that dream came true! Have an awesome birthday Jonah! PS Don't tell Wyatt I said your the best brother." She thought it was so funny that he read the last part in front of Wyatt.
Jonah loved the fanny pack that Wyatt gave him.
I don't think he was very surprised with his huge bag of mints. I have started getting them for him every year.
Jonah didn't give us any ideas for presents. It's hard as he gets older because everything he wants is so expensive. I wrapped up some cash and apparently he was pretty surprised with that.
Jonah has been wanting AirPods, but they are crazy expensive so we gave him some InPods (Chinese knock offs) instead. He was happy to have new headphones.
Wyatt wanted to play a prank on Jonah so he wrapped up a tooth pick. He loves a good prank!
Jonah was excited about his gifts.
After presents Jonah got online to play video games with Cody. They haven't been able to play together for a while, so Jonah was thrilled. Keith got on and played with them too. I was worried that Jonah's birthday would be boring since we didn't have any big plans, but it turned out to be a great day for him.

Great post about Jonah's birthday! I loved reading about what you all did and loved seeing the pictures. I'm glad he got to go to Lowes with his friends and that the other mom picked them up so you could have dinner ready. The picture of Hallee laughing so hard was so cute and what a nice letter she wrote Jonah! Wyatt was funny wrapping up a toothpick. Your children are so cute with each other! That's great that Jonah got to play a video game with Cody and Keith. It sounds like a great birthday for him!
Sounds like a really great day!!
