Depot Bay and Newport

The sun was out Thursday morning so we got in our cars and drove over to Depot Bay.  It was beautiful!
We stood on the overlook and watched the spouting horn for a while.  It was so fun to see the water shoot out of the rocks.
I love the waterfalls on the rocks after the water shoots out.
I could watch this all day.  I love the popping sound it makes when the water shoots out of the rocks.
We went to a couple of shops in Depot Bay.  We decided we needed these matching sweatshirts.
They say, "The Ocean Made Me Salty."  We tried to make a salty face.  Nailed it!
Wyatt likes to make me nervous by climbing and running on the overlook!
After Depot Bay we went into Newport.  It was starting to get windy and overcast, but the sun came out when we got out of the car at Newport.
I love bridges!
Hal forgot to take off her mask for the family picture!
We had fun watching the sea lions for a while.
The only problem was they were very stinky!
Hallee loved hearing them bark.
After that we walked around and went into a few shops.  I'm so glad we got out that morning because it rained on and off the rest of the day.
After lunch we went down to the pool again.  Keith and I were able to visit with Gary and Julie for a long time, it was so nice.  The kids swam for a while and then it started to rain so everyone went back up.  There was a little girl in the pool and Hallee was having so much fun playing with her so Keith stayed down there with her for a while.
This was the closest we got to a sunset.  It was cloudy every night, but Thursday night the sun peeked through the clouds a little bit.

Beautiful pictures again! I love the sweatshirts you girls got but I especially liked the one of your salty faces-so funny! That's so great that you got to visit with Gary and Julie for a long time but I'm sorry that it rained as much as it did but I know that's typical. That looked like a fun day and there sure were a lot of sea lions crammed together. They sure don't social distance, do they? I'm sure enjoying reading about your trip!
