Break Dance Performance

Wyatt's studio did a performance on Saturday.  I'm glad they were able to do it.  He could only have three guests, which was a bummer, but I'm so glad he got to do it!
I love his studio and I love his teacher.  Deon, his teacher, is standing at the microphone in this picture.  She talked about how they help kids build their confidence and individuality.  They did a group routine at first, but then they break off and each take a turn doing their own routine.  The kids decide what moves they want to do and come up with their own individual routine. She told us to make sure and let these kids know that we like their moves by cheering.  It is such a fun atmosphere!
Wyatt was front and center.
He had the routine down and did a great job performing.
Wyatt was the first one to do his individual performance.
He rocked it!  He has worked hard practicing moves and making sure he gets them just right.
Deon sat on the floor facing the kids.  I love that she has both hands up cheering for Wyatt.
After the two classes performed they formed a circle and a few of the older boys performed and then anyone who wanted to could step out and perform.
Wyatt went out and performed again.  I love watching him perform!  It's hard to believe that this is the same boy that made me promise that he would never have to perform.
I'm so glad Wyatt has found something that he loves.  I love watching him perform and I love watching his confidence grow!

Looking at the cute picture of little Wyatt at the top of the blog and seeing the amazing 10 year old he is now was really fun! You got some great pictures and I'm so glad we got to see the videos on social media! Its wonderful that he's gaining so much confidence through this dancing! He's really a great boy and we're so proud of him!
