The faces of Christmas

I love seeing the kids excited faces when they open presents. I love that Wyatt looks like he just opened a million bucks, but really it's just a pocket knife comb!
I love giving gifts.  I love the challenge of coming up with ideas that they haven't even thought of.
Wyatt got excited about everything.  He didn't get anything too exciting besides the hoverboard, but he sure thought they were exciting.  I got him a few new pairs of pants because he wears the same two pairs of pants and I'm tired of washing them every day!
Jonah was excited with NBA2K21.
Caitlyn was excited about everything.  She is so fun to give gifts to.  She loves everything and gets so excited.  She made this face and let out a scream a lot Christmas morning.
She even got excited about the pajama pants she caught me buying her!
I did surprise her with a robe and a duvet insert.
Every pair of pants was so exciting for Wyatt.
Hallee and Jonah don't react as much as Caitlyn and Wyatt, but I did catch a few of their excited faces.
Caitlyn asked for a tortilla blanket from Santa.  Santa brought her a weighted blanket.  I think she was relieved when she opened the tortilla blanket.  For some reason she really wanted that tortilla blanket.
Hallee was so excited for Christmas.  She was counting down and couldn't wait to go to bed on Christmas Eve.
Caitlyn loves anything tennis!
Jonah loves his new sweatshirts.
We surprised Caitlyn with a couple of her favorite movies.
We take turns opening presents so we can all watch each other and because I don't want to miss any!
Hallee loves her new unicorn blanket.
A few months ago Wyatt mentioned that he wanted a hoverboard, but he knew he couldn't ask for one because they were so expensive.  He didn't mention it again so I figured he would be pretty surprised when he opened one Christmas morning.
I got an amazing deal online for Black Friday.  It was already on sale and I got to use a 25% off coupon.  I got a top of the line, adult size hoverboard for cheaper than a kids one, I couldn't believe it.
He was so surprised and so happy!  He has used it nonstop!
It's nice to see Jonah wearing pants and sweatshirts this winter instead of his usual shorts!
Planning, buying and wrapping for Christmas is so much work, but it is so much fun.  I'm so grateful that we can give our kids such exciting Christmas mornings!
