Hallee was so excited for her dance recital. She was excited to wear her costume and perform.
We got there early so we could do some pictures before it started.
Hallee wanted to wear some make up so we put some on and curled her hair.
She looked so beautiful!
Between the outfit, the make up and the high heels, she sure looked grown up!
She took a combo class this year so she performed two numbers. Her first one was Jazz. Jazz is her favorite style of dance. She did a great job. Her technique is excellent and she has great showmanship as well, you can tell she loves it!
They also did a tap number. She was not as confident going into this one, she felt like she didn't know the routine as well. She did a great job!
It was so fun watching her shine up on stage.
I didn't get a group picture of everyone that came to watch her, but she loved having grandma and grandpa, Caleb and Johanna and Alexys there to watch her.
Hallee loves taking dance with Tessa. She didn't know if she wanted to take dance next year because Tessa is going to do gymnastics instead. I think the recital helped her realize how much she loves dance. We also got an email from Dansation inviting Hallee to try out for their competition team. It said that her teacher said, "Hallee is incredibly talented and would make a great addition to our competition teams." Hallee was pretty excited to hear that. I looked at the different options on their website and there is a sign-on competition team that is a ton cheaper and not as big of a time commitment so we will probably start there. I'm excited that Hallee is going to continue to develop her talent.

Hallee really did look beautiful and danced so well! It just seems to come naturally for her and she does put herself into it. That's great that she's going to do it again even without Tessa and do a competition team! I loved what her teacher said about her!!
Hallee is such a talented dancer! I'm glad her teacher reached out to her and that she's going to continue dancing.
