Summer break is in full swing over here. We are trying to find things to do to keep us entertained. It got really hot this week, so being outside is not fun. Hallee and I have been watching tutorials and making some cool rainbow loom bracelets.
On Monday we didn't really do anything, so we were really excited to get out on Tuesday and go hang out with Katie and the kids. We took them to Airborne.
They have Labyrinth games connected to Airborne and the kids really wanted to do that.
Katie and I were pretty confused about the whole thing and so were the kids at first, but they got the hang of it after awhile and solved a few of the rooms.
After that they jumped for an hour. The kids loved this wipeout area.
I enjoyed being inside an air conditioned building and visiting with Katie. It's been a while since we have been able to hang out and just visit.
The kids get creative when screens aren't an option. Hallee and Wyatt have been playing Sorry a lot and thought it was fun to play it out on the deck one morning.
The kids have been enjoying the skate park. Keith has taken them in the evenings a few times and I took them early one morning so we could beat the heat.
It's fun to see the kids trying new tricks.

Wyatt loves riding his penny board. He rides it everywhere.
I had fun riding down the hills on my scooter with the kids.
After we played at the skate park for a while we went on the parkway and stopped to throw rocks in the river.
Jonah started his job as a lifeguard yesterday. He was nervous, but they answered all his questions and gave him some training, so he said he feels comfortable now. I think it will be a great summer job for him.
Caitlyn is so sad that Bella stopped working at Chick-Fil-A. She will miss working with her.
Caitlyn is happy that her and Bella can still hang out. She loves to go out with Ashlyn and Bella.
Caitlyn had a morning shift on Thursday and she had Friday off. Hallee loved having her home. They had a lot of fun learning ukele songs.
They both have beautiful voices and I love to hear them sing.
Hallee has loved staying up late with Caitlyn. Hallee falls asleep quickly after her late nights!

Those bracelets look great and fancy! Hallee does look like a teenager and Jonah is looking so old too! It's good you got to visit with Katie and hang out with her and her children and go to Airborne. That is a fun place but it sounds like there are new things that they didn't have the last time I went there. Good job riding your scooter with Wyatt and Hallee! I'm sure they love it! Caitlyn is such a sweet sister! Hallee is lucky to have her and it sounds like she's enjoying all her time with Caitlyn! Great post Allison!
