Keeping Busy

I love sitting in the front room with the Christmas lights on. It's even better when the whole family hangs out in there.

Caitlyn got her patriarchal blessing at the beginning of December.  I've been wanting her to get it for a few years now, but luckily she didn't listen to me and she waited until she was ready.  She said she was sitting in Young Women's a few weeks ago and she just knew it was the right time.  It was a great experience for her and Keith and I loved being there with her.  She is a special girl with a great life ahead of her.

Wyatt has had fun with Legos lately. He built a Nintendo.

Jackson just looked so cute sitting up in his pajamas. 

Keith had his company Christmas party last week. They had it at a barn in Lindon this year and it was so nice.  It was so great not to be squished in a room at a restaurant.  They had it catered and the food was so good.  We are always looking forward to and so grateful for the Christmas bonus they give us.  Vasayo has been very good to us!

Daniel handed out dollar bills to everyone and they played left, right, center.  Keith won! 

We had our ward Christmas party last week.  Wyatt and Eddie did some break dancing in the talent show.  They were a crowd favorite.

I didn't realize this before, but Wyatt told me that watching Hunter break dance at the ward Christmas party a few years ago is the reason he started taking break dancing.  

I'm so glad Wyatt discovered break dancing, it has been so good for him!

Wyatt and I went to Rockwell's band concert.  I'm so impressed with how good he sounds in such a short time.  I have no doubt Rockwell is putting in lots of practice time!

Wyatt had his performances this past Saturday. He is in tricking and break dancing so he is in both shows.  It's a long day for him, he was there for almost six hours.  He didn't seem to mind though.  He was happy that we brought him snacks and water. 

He did a great job.  It's so fun to watch his crew, they are all so good!

Grandpa wasn't feeling well, but Mel and grandma came and Wyatt loved having them here.  They were troopers because it was so long!

We love watching Wyatt do his thing!

Jonah got asked to Sweethearts last night.  He is excited to go with Aliyah.

It has snowed a lot lately.  We don't get a ton, but enough to delay school by two hours! They had another two hour delay today.  The kids sure like it.  Winter is not my favorite, but the snow sure is pretty and it does make it feel like Christmas time.

Caitlyn went to one class today and then she came home during TA and wanted to go to lunch.  We went to the crepe place she loves, but they were closed for maintenance, that was a bummer.  We decided to go to Waffle Love instead.  We both agreed that it was really good, but really over priced. After that we went to a couple of stores so Caitlyn could do some Christmas shopping.  It was so fun to spend the afternoon with her and it made my day that she wanted to hang out with me. 

Caitlyn is such a beauty and she brings so much peace and positivity to our house.  I'm trying not to panic that she is halfway through her senior year and will be turning 18 in a few months.  I don't think I'm ready, but ready or not this girl is turning into an adult!
