The never ending winter

We have had so much snow this winter and it just keeps coming.  Even though it's Spring now, we are constantly having snow storms.  We had one day off school because of it.  We got over a foot and me and the boys shoveled it and we were so tired, but then we saw our neighbor come out and start shoveling her driveway and I told the boys we couldn't go in without helping her.  I'm proud of my boys, they didn't complain and went over and shoveled until her driveway was clear.  We have record numbers of snowfall this year.  I know we needed it, but I've had enough. I'm ready for Spring!
EJ and Ofa had their baby.  Poor Ofa went through a long couple of days trying to get her to come before she had a C-section.  Luckily these babies are worth it because their mom sacrifices so much to get them here.  Zariyah was born on March 3rd.  I want to hold her so bad, she looks perfect in every picture.
It is crazy to me that EJ is a dad.  Him and Ofa are going to be the best parents.
Ofa's mom went up for a couple of weeks and then Mel went up.  Mel sent us this picture of her. I love this picture, it captures how excited Mel is to be a grandma!
I loved getting pictures from Mel while she was there. She is so adorable!
Hallee loves to try different things with her hair. She thought this one was pretty funny.
Jonah ran for Junior class vice president and won.  I loved the poster he made to hang up in the hall! He and some friends decided to run for the different offices.  Not all of his friends won, but a few of them did, so hopefully he will enjoy that next year.
Karen Bunnell brought us dinner one night.  She always seems to know when we are struggling and need a boost.  She is such a kind, self-less woman. Daniel decided to get rid of Vasayo and start a whole new company and just focus on a few products.  It is built around a lady who is bringing a lot of people from Asia into the company.  Daniel didn't tell Keith until a week or two before and then said he needed to hire lots of Mandarin speakers.  It is not easy to find any employees right now, let alone Mandarin speakers.  He also had to deal with the fact that most of the brand partners are in Taiwan, which is the opposite time as us.  The whole thing was not handled well and has been so much work.  For two weeks straight Keith worked 14-16  hour days, seven days a week.  I could see he was reaching his breaking point and so could his boss.  Luckily, things have improved since then and his schedule is mostly back to normal now.  It's still very busy and stressful for him, but nothing like it was.  It was hard on all of us to have him gone so much and dealing with so much stress.  I felt bad because there was nothing I could do to help him.  I took care of everything at home so at least he didn't have to stress about that.  Anyway, Karen bringing us dinner was a tender mercy for me and a reminder that Heavenly Father loves me and is aware of our family.  I need those reminders to be able to keep going.  I'm so grateful that Karen is so willing to share His love with us.  It was just the boost we needed.
Sometimes Wyatt gets anxious at night and he wants to sleep on our floor.  He used to struggle every night, so I'm grateful it is just every once in a while now. Poor kid, anxiety is so hard.
Hallee's class got a grant to grow hydroponic gardens.  They grew the lettuce and then had a salad bar one day to enjoy their work.
Hallee likes to go to activity days whenever she can. She enjoyed learning how to knit. She said they all looked like old ladies sitting around knitting, ha!
Jonah made the soccer team! He was debating even trying out because he didn't think he would make it, but he decided to go for it and he made the Sophomore team.  I'm so proud of him for putting himself out there and trying out.  He has been working so hard at practice every day and I think he is really enjoying it.  He scored the first goal of the season.  It was so exciting.  I was so happy for him.
Hallee had a choir festival during school.  I got to watch it online and the school posted this picture.  She loves to sing any chance she gets.
Hallee and Wyatt have enjoyed playing on the trampoline on the few warm days that we have had.
Caitlyn got accepted to the University of Utah and also got a good scholarship.  She applied to a few schools during Avid and the U was one of them.
Keith found this selfie of Hallee on his phone.
One night Hallee and Keith were the only ones home so they got Costa Vida for dinner.
Hallee and Tessa play together almost every weekend.  Tiff sent this picture.  That is so much cuteness in one picture!
