Christmas Part 2

I did buy Hallee one toy.  She still plays with Barbie's sometimes so I got her one. I miss buying my kids toys, so it was fun to have her get excited about it.
The girls loved showing off their new clothes. They just held them up instead of stripping like the boys.
Jonah was thrilled with his zip off jeans.
Hallee was excited for these cool patterned pens.
Caitlyn wanted some wireless headphones.
Wyatt needs new pants so I got him a few pairs and wrapped them up for Christmas.
Jonah always needs new socks and he was happy to get the Nike ones he likes.
I thought Wyatt would like this twisty Rubiks cube.
I thought this Mario game looked like one Wyatt would like.
Wyatt was very happy with his new game. He likes strategy games and we don't have very many of those so I thought this would be fun for him.
I love that Jonah was in a new outfit every time he opened a present.
Caitlyn is so excited for all her new clothes. She hasn't hardly worn them yet because she has been working so much, she is always in her uniform. She is working at Chick-Fil-A over the Christmas break. She has loved being back there and is excited to earn some money.
Hallee asked for a lip gloss making set a few months ago. The reviews on it weren't very good so I tried to talk her out of it.
I knew she really wanted it so I got it for her, she was surprised and very happy.
After all the presents under the tree were open I knew there was one present for Hallee and Wyatt that they hadn't opened. Luckily I remembered that because there was a whole box of presents that I forgot. Hallee wanted this fidget pen and I knew Wyatt would love one too so I had them open them at the same time.
We had a great Christmas morning. I was worried it wouldn't be very exciting since they knew a lot of their presents, but they all were very happy and excited about everything they got. It was fun to watch!
After presents Caitlyn helped me make eggs benedict. It was so good!
I know there is a picture of me on Christmas morning with sauce all over my face, Wyatt reminded me of that.
After that we played Wyatt's new game.
Only four of us could play, but I love that Jonah and Hallee hung out in the kitchen with us while we played.  I love family time like this where everyone is together and happy.
After that the boys played video games while us girls watched The Grinch.  Later we went to my mom's for dinner.  It was a great Christmas.

Christmas Morning

December went by so fast this year.  The weather has been warm and Christmas just snuck up on me this year.  Luckily I stayed on top of the shopping and wrapping so we were all set for Christmas morning.
We told Hallee and Wyatt that we wouldn't start until 9 AM. They were disappointed, but good sports about it. They hung out together and played games in Wyatt's room until we all got up.
The kids are getting harder and harder to shop for. I love surprising people with gifts, but this year I accepted that it's too hard to surprise them and they picked out most of their gifts.  I did come up with a few surprises though.
Keith had the great idea to give the boys gaming laptops.
He had some laptops at work that his agents aren't using anymore so he fixed those up and added some memory and bigger hard drives to make them really nice for the boys.  They were surprised and very excited.
Caitlyn asked for a cherry toilet bowl cleaner, welcome to adulthood Cait! She also got some laundry soap and quarters to do her laundry.  Hallee has been wanting a camera that prints out pictures for a while. Daniel gave us all one in Hawaii so we were excited to save that and give it to Hallee. She was surprised and excited!
The kids all surprised me with gifts and Keith gave me a stocking, it was so sweet.
Caitlyn got Keith a calendar and some cologne that she knew he wanted.
The other kids got Keith upwards. He loves scrabble so we thought he would like this game.
I love seeing their excited faces.
The girls are very expressive.
Wyatt moved so fast that it was hard to get pictures of him.
Jonah asked for lots of clothes.
Hallee has moved on from toys and wanted skin care and clothes this year.
Caitlyn was excited to get lots of new clothes.
I was surprised by some of the clothes Jonah wanted. It's funny how the kids end up wearing the same styles that their parents used to wear.
Wyatt asked for some Vans shirts.
I couldn't resist buying Hallee a caboodle. I wish I would have saved mine!
I love how excited Caitlyn gets for things that she asked for.
I told Jonah he had to give me specific clothes he wanted or he would just get money.  He sent me a bunch of links, but apparently he forgot because he was surprised by a lot of them.
Hallee loved the necklace and bracelet I surprised her with.
Wyatt asked for the Lego 2K game and he knew it was sold out everywhere, so he was surprised and excited to get the digital version.
Hallee sent me a link for a sweater she really wanted, but there was only one in her size. I immediately ordered it and a few minutes later she looked and was sad that it was sold out.
She was so excited to see I was the one that got the last one!
The girls both asked for a few sweaters.  They are so cute.
Jonah wanted these pants that I was sure he would not end up wearing. I debated on getting them, but Lori told me I should get them if he said he wanted them. I'm glad I listened to her because he was very exited about those pants.
He has already wore them a few times.
Every time the boys opened new clothes they would drop their pants and change right there.
Caitlyn was not a fan of them changing in front of her, so of course they did it more just to bug her. I have so many pictures that I am going to have to break this up into another post.
