Deon arranged for Bboy Gravity, Bboy Data, BGirl Melisa and BGirl Rose to come into town for the weekend and do a workshop with the kids. It was expensive and we had to commit when Keith was out of work, so we didn't sign up.
Wyatt was sad about it, but he understood. Deon texted me a week before and said she would really like to get Wyatt there if we wanted and that Breakin Circles would cover half of the cost. She ended up offering to cover all of it, but this was when Keith was working so we told her that we could do half of it. It was so nice of her. It means so much to me that she loves Wyatt so much and wants to make sure he is involved.
They had a battle at the end of the workshop on Saturday. They put the kids into crews of three and did 3V3 battles. Wyatt was with Harley from his studio and a boy from Las Vegas. They all did so great!
They planned some routines and they looked great together.
The first round all of the judges chose them to move on.
They put together a new routine for the second round. Wyatt always does great on his solo part. He always gets complimented on his footwork.
You know he is in it to win it when he pulls out his yawn to burn the other team.
It was fun to watch him. He was really into this battle and you could tell he was giving it his all.
The second round was a 2-1 split by the judges and Wyatt's team moved on.
Wyatt always does a great job cheering on his team and hyping them up. Wyatt's lost in the semi-finals. It was so exciting to have them go so far. I love it because I get to watch Wyatt dance a lot!
After the battle the kids got autographs.
Wyatt loved the weekend so much. It was a great experience for him.
