This cool kid is 14-years-old. He definitely has some teenage attitude, but not much. He is still so sweet and caring. He is very aware of how others are feeling and tries to cheer people up.
Wyatt laughs all the time. He thinks everything is funny and loves to laugh and crack jokes. I love to hear his laugh over and over every time he has a friend over. It makes me so happy because he had a lot of years where he was not so happy and carefree. He still has worries and anxieties, but not like he used to.
He is not a fan of taking pictures. I tried to get him to pose a little and he gave me this look. Wyatt likes to be busy. He hates being bored and can only watch TV or play video games for a little while and then he needs to do something else. I love to see the creative things he comes up with.
One idea he had that he worked on a few weeks ago was building a Thor's Hammer. He found a template online and dug through the recycling bin for supplies.
He painted multiple coats to make sure it looked just right.
It was a fun project for him. He is always trying to find some project to work on. He is constantly moving his room around and asking if he can bring things in from the shed to his room. I like it because then he is motivated to clean out his room.
Wyatt still loves break dance and is really enjoying ballroom as well. He is excited to be on the ballroom team this year and loved his ballroom camp last week. He said it was fun to learn new routines and get ready for competition. He is also excited about the friends he is making through ballroom. He is very social and loves to be with his friends.
Wyatt is just an overall great kid. He is hard working, kind, funny, spiritual, sensitive, smart, appreciative and creative. We are so grateful he is part of our family.
