Senior Night

Jonah had his senior night on October 16, just before Fall break.  They played Mountain View.  It was a great game for Provo. We won 62-24.
Jonah kicked great as always.  His kicks are so high and right down the middle most of the time.
The coach let Hyrum kick a few PAT's since it was senior night.  Jonah was a good sport about it and it didn't bother him.
Jonah got to play Corner for a bit.  He did great.  It was fun to see him out there tackling people.
It is so awesome that Grace takes pictures every game and sends them to Jonah.  She gets great pictures.
Jonah did awesome as corner.
He was frustrated that he got called for pass interference on this play.  He thought it was a clean block.
I love going to the football games every week.  They are so fun.
I'm really glad Jonah has played, it has been so much fun watching him.
Jonah helped me write down what he wanted them to say while we walked out.  It said, "After High School Jonah plans to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After that he plans to get a sick job so he can buy cool cars and hopefully not crash them or run over peoples feet."
I love Jonah's sense of humor. I love that he just laughs about things.  He said everyone would think that would be funny.   It was definitely funny.
Mel came to the game.  It was so nice to have her there and she recorded it for us and took pictures. I really appreciated that!
My friend Mel at work made Jonah a bunch of candy leis.  She is so sweet.
It was such a fun night.
These senior things are hitting me hard because I know how quickly the rest of this senior year is going to go. I'm not ready to launch another child out into the world.  I'm just trying to soak it all in!
Here is Jonah with a group of his senior friends.
They gave the seniors football cards.  It was cute to see kids come up and want a card and want Jonah to sign it.
We had a great night celebrating Jonah!
