Happenings

Tiff gave us this Paris puzzle. Wyatt was so excited to start working on it. We have all been working on it and got it done. We enjoyed it so much that we have been doing puzzles ever since.
Wyatt is always wearing Jonah's clothes and he looks more like Jonah every day.
Mel came with me to my work Christmas party.  We saw Wicked.  They fed us Zupas and popcorn and soda.  It was really fun.  They had a raffle and I put all my tickets in what I thought was $100 gift card to the bookstore. Mel was nice and put her tickets in for me too, Mel won!  We were both very confused when they called her ticket number for $100 for community education. I guess I should have looked at it closer. We had a good laugh about that. It was such a fun night.

The sunsets have been so pretty.
Wyatt has decided to quit ballroom and added some auto mechanics classes for next semester instead. He hasn't been enjoying it and hasn't meshed with the people as much as he did last year.  He had his last performance.
He was not happy about this costume. He is just ready to be done.
He liked the Waltz better. He did a great job and we will miss watching him dance.
I got the room downstairs all set up with mom's things. I love having the quilt she made me on the bed. It's nice to have a space where I feel close to her.  I think I might put her sewing machine on the desk and try my hand at sewing.
We put this table from mom's place in our front room.  I put a bunch of pictures of mom on there. We have so many great memories and I love looking at the pictures every day. We put all our nativities on there too. I love it.
We have had fun watching Christmas movies.
Mel and I went to Dad's last week and Mel made dinner for us. Dad is struggling with stomach issues and fatigue and a lot of grief.  I wish I could do something for him.  Dad has started going to Home Goods a lot and has decorated the house really cute.  This Christmas runner he set up on his table looks so cute.
The sunrises when I'm going to work are amazing too.
I only had to work two days this week, but I decided to take it off because we are slow.  It’s been so nice!! Hallee and I had fun getting some Christmas baking done.  It’s intimidating to make things that mom usually makes because she’s such a good cook.  I miss her so much right now, doing Christmas Eve without her is going to be so hard!  I’m sure she will be so happy that we are getting together.

That's really funny about the raffle at your work party. I can't wait for your sewing business to open! ;) I have loved the sunsets and sunrises lately! We get to see the sunrises every morning as I drive the kids to school and we just can't believe what a gorgeous place we live in!
