Caitlyn turned 21 yesterday. It blows my mind that she is that old. She chose a barbecue for dinner. It was really good! Wyatt had to be at his game early so he missed it, which was a bummer.
Caitlyn wanted a cheesecake for dessert.
After dinner she opened her presents.
Caitlyn had school all morning. I ran into her in the hall after I picked up the checks, that was a fun surprise.
Hallee wrote Caitlyn a sweet card and got her some things she knew she wanted.
I love how much my girls love each other.
Caitlyn has always been a very empathetic, kind person. She hates to see other people suffer and will do anything to support them and try to cheer them up. She loves to get to know people and make new friends. Relationships are very important to her.
Caitlyn loves animals, especially horses. She loves volunteering at the barn and she loves working with Dream. It amazes me that she is willing to do all of that hard, dirty work at the barn for free. It makes her happy!
Caitlyn has mixed feelings about school right now. She doesn't like going to class, but I think she likes Social Work and what she is learning. I think some of her classes are pretty boring and she is also not a fan of early morning classes. Caitlyn loves her sleep and is always trying to fit a nap in. This semester has been hard with work, school and the barn. She is going to adjust her work schedule and she thinks that will help. She is really looking forward to summer break.
Caitlyn loves to read, make crafts and decorate her room. She loves to go out with her friends and hang out with the family. She is thoughtful and generous. I hope she realizes how amazing she is and how much we love her.
She loved all of her gifts, she picked them out, so I knew she would, ha!
After gifts Caitlyn took a nap before her friends came over that night. They went to an Adams Family Escape room. Caitlyn loved it, she loves escape rooms! After that they went to Sonic and then Alisha came over and watched a show with Cody and Caitlyn. Caitlyn had a great birthday!
