Happy Birthday Jonah

I have mixed feelings about Jonah turning six today.  He has grown up so quickly, but he has always seemed older than his age so six doesn't seem old enough for him.  He has always wanted to be one of the big kids.  He is very competitive so he does things that seem old for his age because he wants to keep up with the older kids.  I am always amazed at how quickly he can learn things.  He pretty much taught himself to read, ride a bike and swim.  He looked so little jumping off the high dive this summer, but he could do it with no problem.  He has been reading challenging books for almost a year now.  He used to read books to the other kids in pre-school last year. He is very athletic and loves to be active.  He loves to play the wii.  He likes routines.  He gets testy if he doesn't get his cereal for breakfast and some time to play the wii after school.  Jonah has always been a happy child.  He is very easy going and loves to laugh and have fun.  He is very sweet and will share anything he has.
He is a great older brother.  The other day I told Wyatt that I was going to put him down for a nap after I finished putting laundry away.  I came into his room and found this.  Jonah was reading to him and tucking him in.  It was so sweet.
Jonah loves to help.  Sometimes he will say, "mom you work too hard, what can I do for you."  We have had a lot of fun together while Cailtyn is at school and the younger ones are napping.
He is such a handsome boy! He has brought a lot of fun and laughter into our home over the last six years. We love this kid!  Happy Birthday Jonah, it has been a great six years!
