Friday I was in charge of a Father Daughter night for activity days. I have a partner, but I ended up doing everything. I got a little stressed, but Keith helped me plan some of the games. I get really stressed when I am in charge of things and then you add in my social anxiety and I was really nervous on Friday.
Luckily it went really well and I calmed down when we started. I had two of my girls help with some of the games. One of them planned musical chairs. It was pretty funny because all the men were so competitive. Keith ended up winning. even though he had to knock Lexi down to do it. She really did fall, but it wasn't his fault and she was laughing, so it was all okay.
We also played a little father/daughter trivia.
Keith and Caitlyn won by a land slide, they got every question right. I tried to pick ones that they would have a hard time with because I didn't want it to look like we cheated, but they knew them all!
They played another fast paced game with a ball and then we did minute to win it games. Keith does these at work a lot so he took care of this for me. We had five different games that they rotated through.
After this we had dessert. It turned out to be a really fun night. Mel offered to take the boys and I'm so glad I let her because just having Hallee there was hard enough. Thanks Mel! Caitlyn had a blast. She loves activity days and she loves acting goofy with all of the other girls.
