Last week was Keith's birthday. He took the day off work so we could party. By party I mean do something that would be fun for the kids so we could all have a fun day! Life sure changes when you have kids.
We started out with giving him his favorite cereal and some presents.
Keith and I promised each other that we wouldn't spend money on presents. I told the kids they all had to come up with their own presents. Caitlyn loves art so she was excited to make this for Keith. Jonah picked a light saber out of his room so they could fight and Wyatt picked a treat for him out of the pantry.
We spent the day at Planet Play. This is one of our favorite places to go.
Wyatt insisted on spiky hair again, but this time he didn't cover it up with a hat! Love that cute face.
We got Jonah to laugh about something, so I had to snap a picture of his real smile!
I hate this picture of me, but I love it of Hallee so it made the cut!
We were excited that Tiff and the kids joined us. Hallee and Tessa were great sports while the older kids played.
Wyatt and Rockwell had a blast bowling. Luckily the people next to us were always patient because they would grab the balls as soon as they came up even if it wasn't their turn.
Wyatt would stand like this every time he bowled until the ball reached the pins.
Caitlyn and Jonah had fun playing golf and laser tag.
The merry-go-round is always a hit.
Hallee thought it was great.
Caitlyn rode the tiny rides while Keith and Jonah did the bumper cars.
The kids all had a blast. Happy kids equals happy parents. We were there for five hours and we probably could have stayed longer. We came home and put the kids to bed early so Keith and I could watch a movie. I think Keith had a fun day. He is such a good guy that all he wanted to do was be with the family. I did get him to relax a little in the morning, but he wanted to spend the day playing with his kids!
