11 Years!

Keith and I have been married for eleven years today!  We celebrated with our little get-away back in April, so we didn't have any big plans for today.  Keith had the day off and since the kids are out of school we were trying to think of something fun to do.  We finally decided to go downtown and take advantage of the free things we could do down there.
We found a good parking spot and walked over to the Planetarium.
The kids had fun walking around and climbing on everything.
Caitlyn is always so worried about Hallee.  She kept holding her hand because she was afraid she was too far behind or that she would get hit by a car.  I promise I was watching Hallee, but Caitlyn still gets nervous.
The kids had fun walking around the planetarium.  There is quiet a bit to look at and it is great that it is free!
They love standing on Mars and the Moon!
After that we got on the train in the free zone.  The older kids were excited to ride on it.  Hallee was not.  She was nervous the whole time and kept saying, "all done."
We decided to get off at Temple Square.
Keith sure looks good in this picture!  I feel so grateful to have him as my husband.  He is the perfect man for me.  He always makes me feel safe and loved.  I love that he can always calm me down when I get nervous and anxious.  He works so hard for our family and he is an amazing Father.  We are all so lucky to have him!
We decided to go into the Church's children's museum.  We haven't been there in years.
We walked around and looked at all of the church history stuff downstairs.
The kids were excited to get upstairs to the hands-on part.  It was all about the Book of Mormon.  Here they are on Lehi's ship.
Caitlyn was interested in reading everything and really looking at things.  She liked looking at the gold plates.
They had this place where you could dress up and follow the people dancing on the TV.  I was surprised that the boys got right in there and did it.  It was so cute to watch.  Caitlyn loved it!
There were so many fun things for the kids to do.  We had to leave after an hour because we parked in a 2 hour spot, but I think the kids could have stayed a lot longer.
Wyatt and Hallee loved the little kitchen.  They also had a garden behind the table and chickens and eggs on the other side.  Hallee was so mad when we told her we had to leave.
Jonah and Keith had fun playing with the soft blocks and burying Jonah so he could jump out and scare people!
We took the train back to our car and Hallee was so funny.  She had this terrified look on her face and said, "fun mom, fun."  By the end she was enjoying it and didn't seem scared anymore.  We ended up taking the wrong train, but we didn't get too far off track.  I'm pretty sure we left the free zone though, whoops!  After that we were all starving and we went to lunch at Chuck-a-rama. We figured since we didn't spend any money on activities and it was our anniversary that we could splurge on lunch.  It was such a fun day.
I'm so grateful for this little family of mine that started eleven years ago with the man of my dreams!
