Last Friday we went to the Ogden Temple Open House. It ended up being a long night because we got stuck in traffic on the way up there. Once we got there it moved pretty fast, but it was pretty crowded. The kids did great though. I was so glad that we didn't have any melt downs or fits.
I love this sweet, little family of mine and I'm so grateful that we can be sealed together forever in the temple.
The kids liked looking at everything. They really liked the water outside of the temple!
Temple Open Houses used to be so rare, but my older two have been to four of them now. This is number two for Wyatt and Hallee. Our last one was when Hallee was just six-weeks old and that was an adventure. This one went much smoother!
Last week I realized that Jonah's baptism is coming up quickly. He is scheduled to be baptized on November 1st. I can't believe he will be 8-years-old in a month. I decided to try and take some baptism pictures while we were at the temple.
This picture pretty much explains how Jonah felt about it. He was done after one picture. It is so hard to capture Jonah. Once he pulls out that fake smile he doesn't even look like himself. I was able to get a few shots that I am really happy with and I got one that was perfect for the invitation, so I'm happy!
I'm saving most of the good ones for another post, but boy does Jonah look handsome in that suit!
This one captures Jonah. It took me a ton of pictures to get it, but I did. It is my favorite one. I can't believe how handsome and grown up he looks!
Hallee wanted her picture taken too. This girl is killing me. She is always mad about something. She doesn't bother to tell me what she is mad about she just starts screaming and hitting. Today while we were shopping in Walmart she was screaming and throwing things out of the cart. I moved all of the stuff so she couldn't throw it so she took off her shoes and threw them. I just finished my shopping with my screaming 2-year-old while every one's head turned to see what the noise was all about. Between her and Wyatt I am really feeling lousy about my parenting skills right now. They both throw fits at the drop of a hat. I'm hoping it's a phase?!?!

Beautiful pictures of a beautiful family in a beautiful place! Jonah is so cute in that suit! You are a good mom Allison. Children are hard on the self esteem so don't let them get you down. I'm sure it is a phase! They re great children, they just have to challenge us a bit!
