Hallee's cold turned out to be a nasty one. She was pretty sick for over a week. Wyatt just got a runny nose. Usually it is the other way around, Hallee doesn't get sick very often and when she does it isn't very bad, but Wyatt catches everything and it is always bad for him. I caught the cold and it has been horrible. I have had headaches, body aches and a horrible cough. We have pretty much been home since Thanksgiving weekend. Wyatt and Hallee made a swimming pool out of blankets one day. We made tickets and I was the life guard.
Hallee finds trouble everywhere. I don't know if she is worse than my other kids or there is just more trouble to find because she has older brothers and sisters. Coloring on things is a favorite of hers.
Our big outing last week was to the dentist. This was Hallee's first time at the dentist. I was explaining to her what they would do and she seemed okay with it. When we got in the elevator I noticed she had her hand over her mouth. I finally realized that she was planning on keeping it there so they couldn't get to her mouth. She is a funny girl! She ended up cooperating and doing everything. I was a little surprised. She did x-rays and let them clean her teeth while she sat on my lap.
Caitlyn is having so much fun rehearsing for her play. I'm so glad she is enjoying it so much because it takes up a lot of my time! The fact that she loves it makes it worth it.
On Saturday the cast sang at the West Jordan library. I was so sick that day. I felt horrible about missing it, but I stayed home in bed. Keith took lots of pictures and videos for me. Next week is the play, I'm so excited to see it.
They had Santa Claus at the library. I was hoping to go and get a picture with all of the kids, but it didn't work out that way. Wyatt was excited to sit on his lap. Wyatt told Santa that he wants a lightning shooter for Christmas. I have no idea what that is.
Wyatt was so sweet and made dinner for me that night since I was sick. Caitlyn helped him heat up the hot dogs, but he did the rest by himself. He was so proud of himself. He sure is a sweet boy.
Jonah had his first Jr. Jazz game on Saturday. I missed that too. It ended up just being a practice, so I was glad I didn't push myself to go. It was at 5:30 PM, what a horrible time! We found out that night that all of his games will be at 5:30 PM because his coach requested it. I'm not thrilled with the time, but what can you do.
Keith was great this weekend and took care of everything so I could rest. Hallee loves to help with the dishes.
I can't believe how fast Hallee is growing up. I sure love this girl.
