The rest of Friday

Right after the pictures on Friday we went over to Leatherby's. 

Everybody was excited for ice cream!

It is so nice that we can make reservations now.  They added a room in the back and that is where they put us when we come with our huge group.  It is so great.

Everything is so much easier with the kids getting older.  It is so nice that most of them can take care of themselves now.  I don't know how we did it for so many years with so many little kids that needed help.

EJ and Kyle were pretty excited with their ice cream and I think they both finished them.

Hallee loved all of the attention she got this weekend.

After Leatherby's we went over to mom's again.  I feel like I got to visit with everyone more than I have in a long time.  Sometimes we are together for a week and I feel like I didn't get to talk to anyone.

Kyle and EJ wanted to go see a movie and they needed a car.  We let them take our car.  I still can't believe that Kyle is old enough to drive.  I knew my car was safe with him! 

After we got kids down the siblings went to Matt and Lori's hotel room to hang out.  Of course we had to stop and get some soda and food!

Gary and Julie came over a little later.  It was so fun to sit around and talk and laugh together.  I was going to have one of the older kids come stay with our kids, but Keith decided to stay home.  He took the kids home and brought Cody and Elena over for a sleep over.  My kids love having that one-on-one time with them.

We were out late that night and then I came home and looked at the family pictures, I was so tired on Saturday!  Gary and Julie were visiting Julie's grandma on Saturday and Matt and Lori were with Lori's family so we got our house cleaned and set up the Christmas tree.  I was planning on staying home and going to bed early on Saturday night, but I couldn't help it and I called Matt and Lori to see what they were doing that night.  We ended up going over to Tiff's so they could see her house at 10 PM.  We were there until almost 2 AM.  I was so tired, but it was so worth it!
