Please bless we can eat pop tarts and cereal

Whenever Hallee says the prayer at night she blesses that we can eat pop tarts and cereal when we wake up.  I very rarely make breakfast and when I do the kids get mad and want cereal instead.
This week was much better than last week.  Thank goodness!  We went to lunch with mom, Tiff, Mel and Katie for Tiff's birthday on Wednesday.  We went to Café Rio.  We ate outside which was nice so the kids could run around and play.
I love these goofy kids!  Wyatt's pre-school teacher texted me and told me that Wyatt was sad at pre-school that day and said he missed me.  She was able to cheer him up, but just wanted me to know.  I was surprised because the day before he told me that he loved pre-school more than me.   I hope he doesn't start having separation anxiety again!
We had parent teacher conferences this week.  I got good reports on both of the kids.  Caitlyn and Jonah both work hard in school and I'm proud of them for that.  We had Friday off of school because of the parent teacher conferences.  Wyatt and Hallee love it when Caitlyn and Jonah are home from school.  Caitlyn and Hallee were playing "Heidi."  Hallee is "Clara" who is in a wheelchair, so Caitlyn pushes her around the house in her stroller.  It is pretty cute.
My mom took Jonah on a grandma date on Friday.  They went and got a donut.  Jonah loved it.  They love that special time with grandma.  After that Jonah went with Harrison to the Wairhouse and then to Harrison's house to play.
Grandma also took Caitlyn on a date for a treat and to the store.  Caitlyn loved it.  She has always been close to my mom and she loves all the special time she can get.
Keith finally got his offer on Friday.  It was lower than we were hoping, so Keith countered with a higher salary.  Dan said he would let him know on Monday (which could mean four weeks from now).  We were thinking we wouldn't take it, but the more we think about it this weekend we feel like this might be right for us.  I really think this job will open a lot of doors for Keith.  We will have to wait until we get the final offer to decide.  We will also have to decide if he accepts it if we should move right away.  I hate all of these tough decisions. We thought we would move immediately, but it might make sense to stay here and have him commute for a while.  We will worry about all of that after we hear their final offer.
They had their annual party at the fitness center on Friday.  The kids were excited to go.
They had fun rock climbing, watching a magician, taking pictures in the photo booth, playing on a bounce house and eating treats.
We stayed for about an hour and then we were ready to head home.  It was a nice little free outing.
We all got to pick a door prize on the way out.  The kids were really excited about that.
They also liked the balloons and red carpet.
Hallee does everything but listen during scripture reading.  She tries to make us laugh and usually she succeeds.  I don't know what to do with this stubborn girl of mine.
Jonah had to interview a teacher for his community report at school.  He interviewed Tiff.  They had to put together a poster board like this.  They have to use their face as the member of the community.  Jonah thinks it is pretty funny!  I had to help direct him a lot, but he did a good job and did most of it on his own.  If I hadn't helped him he would have said, "teachers have to interview so they can teach arthmatics."  I asked him what "arthmatics" are and he said, "you know, art and arithmetic.  I kept trying to explain (and so did Tiff) that she had to go to College and get a specific degree to become a teacher, but all he wanted to talk about was how she had to have an interview before she got the job.  Funny kid!

Great blog! It means a lot that you mention the grandma dates even when they aren't any big thing. It was great spending time with both of the children!
