Right after I bought the tickets for education week Keith got a call from his boss asking him to travel to Texas for a week. The next day he got a call from the COO asking if he could stay for two weeks. It was nice of them to ask, but that is the kind of thing you don't say no to. It says a lot about how well Keith is doing because they wanted him to go help the center in Texas and implement the things that he has been doing in Provo. We got home from Idaho on Saturday evening and Keith left early Monday morning.
I've tried to have a good balance of getting out and being home and for the most part this week has gone smoothly. Monday night I took the kids to classic. Wyatt was excited to roller skate again!
I had two dentist appointments this week. On Tuesday I had to get some cavities filled. Tiff was nice enough to keep Wyatt and Hallee while I was at the dentist. I was gone a lot this week with young women stuff so it was nice that Caitlyn and Jonah got a break from babysitting. Wyatt and Hallee were thrilled about playing with Rockwell and Tessa. Aren't they the cutest?
We got together with Tiff and Katie one day this week. All the kids had fun playing together at our house. I ran back and forth all day that day to take Jonah to his friends and pick up some football gear. I had Young Womens that night and I was gone until almost 10 PM and then I had to be up early the next morning to take the youth to the temple. I decided we needed a day at home after that!
Hallee and Tessa had fun putting pull ups on the stuffed animals.
I love this picture of Damon and Tiff. Damon has the best smile, looks like a Ham smile to me!
Mel came over yesterday. I have the best nieces and nephews! EJ sat and played with Hallee and let Wyatt climb all over him.
I spent a lot of time taking Jonah to football this week. He is loving every minute of it. He had his first practice in pads last night. I stayed and watched some of it and it is a little hard to watch him get tackled. Football is tough and he is really going to have to work hard. I think this is the first time that a sport hasn't come easily and naturally for him. He has a lot to learn and a lot of hard work ahead of him, but he is up to the challenge. I'm very happy with his coaches, they are very positive and encouraging.
We bought Wyatt this missionary tag in Idaho. He was so excited to wear that and his new suspenders to church. He loves to dress up for church.
We talk to Keith every day and he is getting pretty bored in Texas. He is tired of sitting in the hotel every night after work. It is funny that we are having the opposite problems, I need a minute to myself and he is bored and lonely! He drove into Dallas today and went to the temple there. He sent me this picture. After that he went and got a great steak dinner. I was so glad he got out and had a good day. I wish I was there with him. We can't wait until he gets home on Friday. The kids keep telling me that they miss dad and all I can say is, "me too!"
