Last week Hallee and I met Keith at Café Rio for lunch. Hallee got so excited telling Keith about the box top competition and that her class could earn a pizza party that she grabbed his face and yelled excitedly, "we can earn a pizza party!"
Hallee is still amazing me with how quickly she is learning. She finished the first set of Sam Books and she started on the second set yesterday and she is already on book seven. She is so excited about reading and learning right now, I love it!
Last Wednesday we had a combined activity and the kids painted pumpkins. Caitlyn had a lot of fun. She loves mutual.

Keith got invited to the Jazz game by his Brand Partner again. This time he was able to go! Mark's wife couldn't go so he took Keith. It was a whole new world for Keith. They were on the 8th row. Their seats came with parking right across the street and tickets to the Toyota club. The Toyota club is in the basement of the arena. Keith said it is a huge area with tables and a huge buffet. He had prime rib for dinner and then they have food you can take to your seat. They also had a dessert bar at halftime and after the game. Keith loved it. It was a great game, he said it was a whole different experience watching the game in those seats. President Uchtdorf and his wife (he is in the black sweater) were across the court from him and so was Mitt Romney. It was a great game, the Jazz came from behind to win it. Keith loved it and was on cloud nine when he came home. We are hoping Mark will share his tickets again this season!

Hallee and Wyatt are always up early. Jonah didn't used to sleep in, but he has started sleeping in lately. Hallee and Wyatt are really good on Saturdays and usually play together until everyone wakes up. I heard them playing so I went in to see what they were doing. They were playing doctor, they were thrilled to have me as a patient. I was thrilled that I got to lay in Wyatt's bed while we played. Wyatt is giving the eye exam and Hallee is marking everything down on the chart. I love when they play together, they don't do it as much anymore so I really appreciate it when they do.
Hallee has been wanting a haircut. Last winter I cut her hair and she loved it so I decided to do it again. I love her hair, it is the most beautiful color!
I went way shorter than I was planning. I should not have done it while Wyatt had four friends running through the house and Jonah had two friends over. Luckily she looks cute no matter what, but I do miss her long hair.
The short hair does fit her sassy personality!
Wednesday night we worked hard to get the kid's reflections contest projects finished. We have known about them for a month and the kids all wanted to do it, but they all kept putting it off. Wyatt decided to take this picture. The theme is "Within Reach." He wanted to take a picture of someone helping someone else. Hallee drew a picture of a rainbow and a sky and Jonah wrote a great story about a basketball player learning that it's not all about winning, it's about working hard and doing your best. He did a great job, he is a talented writer.
When did my cute, little boy become such a handsome young man! Jonah started basketball practice this week. I went to a parents meeting and I think we are both going to like the coach. He is going to work them hard, but Jonah will love it. Jonah has two boys from last year on his team. He loved practice and said he really likes his coach.
Caitlyn loves to play with kids. She loves to play with Hallee. I love to hear the laughing together.
