On Tuesday Keith called me and asked me if I was ready. I had no idea what he was talking about and then he told me that he bought us concert tickets and he was on his way home to take me to dinner and the concert! I was very surprised and very excited. He had even arranged for Tiff to come over and get the kids to piano.
A month or two ago I saw that Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith were having a Christmas concert at UVU. I thought it would be fun so I looked at tickets, but when I saw how much they were I decided against it. I mentioned it to Keith, but we didn't talk about it much, so I was really surprised. Keith was so thoughtful to get the tickets and make all of the arrangements for the night so I didn't have to worry about anything.
It was a great concert. Jen introduced me to Michael W. Smith years ago. She loved music and loved a lot of Christian music. I got a little emotional when he sang one of the songs that I remember listening to with Jen. The rest of the songs were Christmas songs. They are both great performers and had great messages to share as well. Michael W Smith talked about how he hoped we all felt God's love for us. I think music is a great way to feel that love and it is how a lot of people connect to our Heavenly Father, especially Christmas music.
They also had Jordan Smith. He won the voice a couple of years ago, I had never heard him sing, but Tiff told me how great he was. He was AMAZING! He stole the show. His voice is beautiful. We bought all of the Cd's that night. We have been listening to them all week, I'm so excited to have new Christmas music. It was a great concert, we had so much fun and both loved it.
My kids loved having aunt Tiff all to themselves. They all told me how much fun they had with her and that they didn't want her to leave. That meant so much to me that she would give up an evening with her family to come shuttle my kids around.
It was a late night and the kids don't like to go to bed when we aren't home. They finally went to sleep, but Caitlyn let Wyatt sleep with her because he was scared upstairs. I loved coming home to this! Sweet kids.

The pictures of you and Keith are so great! What a great looking couple you are and what a sweet husband to take you to the concert! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! That picture of Caitlyn and Wyatt is priceless! How sweet of Caitlyn to let him sleep with her since he was scared. She's sure a sweet, caring girl who I love dearly!
